"Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style."

"Sharon and Rich were amazing, the establishment had a family feel. Breakfast was awesome, everyday was a different chef specialty from chef ( Rich ) . Just a 3 min walk to the beach and restaurants. They also have bikes, coolers, beach umbrellas chairs, beach wagons that make easy for everyone’s comfort. "

Without the usual lobby, it exuded charm as expected of a boutique inn, with its stunning decor, gorgeous hardwood floors, amazing freshly scented foyer, and warm welcome from the innkeeper on duty, Hillary.
