"My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

"This property was fantastic! There was plenty of room for all of our family of 10. It never felt crowded. The view of the lake is absolutely amazing. There was even a bald eagle that we saw several times. Tony was so friendly and helpful. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied, and there were a few grocery store options very close by. We would stay here again, no question!"

"We love this place. Comfortable. On the water. Close to cool little eateries. Smallish grocery handy…bigger stuff like Walmart and Fred Meyer 20 minutes up the road. Plenty of linens if you are staying a few days like we do. Washer and dryer are right in the house (not in the garage) so super convenient to run a load without a big vacation interruption.This was our fourth year (escaping Arizona heat) nuff said."

The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. "Perfect for our family get-away. The proximity and access to private parks made the days fun. For dinner, we used their outdoor grill and Blackstone griddle instead of the kitchen stove and loved it. We all fit around the large table for the meals. And there was an area to play card and board games, which were provided.Thank you"

"This stay was beyond our expectations. The location is in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is also close to all the activities of the Olympic National Park. The house is newly remodeled and is in impeccable condition. There was everything we needed for a wonderful short stay including lawn chairs and kayaks. We would love to come back again next year. "We had a great stay at the hideaway! My brother has a lot in the same neighborhood so we were able to spend the weekend hanging out with them. Everything was as advertised and we had a wonderful time! We look forward to booking again!"

"Everything was great! The driveway is very steep and difficult to find. Worth warning future guests about.Our only 2 complaints were the Master bathroom shower was a bit of a joke. The spout was very short and the flow was weak.The other was that the outdoor patio cushions had a lot of bird poop on them. Fortunately we had some extra rough blankets.However, other than this, we had an excellent time with no issues. Beautiful property and a exquisite views!"

"Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...
