The house has great views of the ocean as it sets right on the north shore with a semi private beach. It was very clean and comfortable even without AC.

We had a beautiful week at this lovely beach house! The views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking! The house was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The host was great and answered any questions I had in minutes. We would love to stay again one day!

Beautiful location! Ocean views out the back as far as you can see. We had 2 sea turtles come onto shore, which was a treat! Jim was great. We would come back and stay here again in a minute!

We had a great time! So why only 3 stars? 1st-the positives. The location is fabulous. The ocean is outside the back door complete with crashing waves. It’s a short drive from tourist attractions and beaches. The nearby town, Haleiwa, is charming. The house is large. There’s so much beach equipment! So why 3 stars? So you’ll know the cautions. Clearly understand there is no AC. The windows with great views are west facing, so the sun bakes the house all day, making evenings unbearable. There are no curtains or blinds to keep out the sun during the day, so there is nothing you can do to make it cooler. There were some fans, but they didn’t have good output, so we bought stand fans for each bedroom. Otherwise we couldn’t have stayed in the house. We moved the fans in the rooms we used-the kitchen while cooking, the living room, etc. The house rules were thorough, but when we got there, many of the rules were moot. For example, one was about being careful to not smudge the walls or would have to pay a fee for repainting. When we looked, every wall was dingy, smudged, marked, and the downstairs bathroom had a punched out place in the wall behind the hung towels. The rules spoke of cleanliness, but the house was filthy! Our feet were black in just a short time. It’s hard to keep a beach house clean, but it started out unclean! Those are the reasons for the rating-just so you will be aware. We had a great time, but the heat in the house is a huge consideration if you choose here!

We had an amazing stay at this beachfront house in Hawaii! The location is incredible, practically a private beach, and we even saw turtles swimming nearby, which was magical. The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed.Jim was incredibly nice, friendly, and flexible, making our stay even better. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

North Shore

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Beach access and view was amazing. Easy access to grocery store and shopping both directions. Owner quick to respond if needed and had local suggestions for activities and dining.

Amazing Beach House

This awesome house has plenty of room for a large family to stretch out and be comfortable. Every room has a window looking out at the ocean. To get to the water, it’s only a couple steps from the driveway to the sand. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay!

This house is older but the bones are good. It’s a great location to try several beaches within a 20 minute radius. Very private, not crowded by neighbors or on the beach. North Shore is where you want to be.

Anniversary Celebration!

I’ve been to the North Shore 7 times now. I brought my family here for their first time and to celebrate the 57th anniversary of my parents and the 34th of my oldest brother and sister-in-law. I couldn’t have asked for a better property! They got to experience 7 days of waves crashing on the beach just outside the door, watched whales breach from the lenai, and feel the cool ocean breeze. The house was great. Clean and provisioned. The owner even left chocolates and towel swabs in every bedroom, I couldn’t ask for more!I will absolutely recommend this property to any and everyone who travels to Oahu!!!!

Over all great place.

Loved the location. Loved hearing the waves. Highway was a bit loud but we became used to it. Loved being close to Ted's Bakery. I think we all gained 10 pounds. Sorry we couldn't get into the water. Rip tides to powerful. Enjoyed the lanai. Thanks for the grill, that worked out well. Washer and dryer came in handy. Only real downfall were the beds. Mattress's were not comfortable at all. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Would like to do it again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.
