"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot.
There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this.
Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good.
A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"We had a very enjoyable three days stay. We had a 'Signature Double' room which was large with a King bed and a very large bathroom with a sea view. The breakfast was very good. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff the same. They have a large car park. The hotel is just a short walk to the sea front."

"Very nicely situated with a short walk to the beach or into town. Great to have indoor and outdoor pool and other recreational options. Good selection of hot and cold buffet breakfasts available."

"The whole of the place said disaster to us. The staff were very rude. They also didn’t even give a smile. The cleaning of the room was absolutely terrible. The inside of the cupboards where you put your clothes were all drips of coffee the pigeons you couldn’t open the window as they were just sat outside watching when we asked for help nobody seemed to have a clue what was going on. I am totally disappointed in the whole of the hotel itself. The pigeons were eaten off the table in the bistro....

"I really can't fault the Cimon, we had a fantastic stay here. Julia and Jamie were so welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. All of the staff took the time to talk to us, one even offering to cut up my daughter's breakfast for her. They all made a fuss of my little girl who absolutely loved Jamie and is still talking about him playing with her toy cheetah.
The pool made it for us (especially to cool down on arrival after travelling) and it had such a lovely well kept garden which was...
