"There was never a dull moment for us! We started at 7 am on the doc fishing, crabbing and kayaking! Spent the hot days inside enjoying games and all of the neat knick knacks, collectables and books! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!"

The house is home from home (has everything you need for a relaxing vacation). Our kids (9-14) enjoyed kayaking in the creek, crabbing at the dock and fishing in the stream. "This was such a treat staying in this cute river cottage. Fred and Jane were amazing hosts and very responsive and helpful when we had questions. The beds and couches are comfy. The shower and bathroom are large and clean. It was too hot to use the outdoor shower, but it’s an awesome touch. We utilized the grill and kitchen to save money on meals. "Great time with my seven grand daughters ((and granddaughters in law and potential granddaughters in law). Played lots of games, made souvenier t-shirts and ate too well. A few bugs (squeamish girls!) and the house could be updated a bit, but it appeared to be very clean with lots of comforts and a very well equipped kitchen. Mornings on the dock were delightful and the changing tides made the view different everytime we were there. Loved our time together!!!"

"This place is adorable! I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my husband, our two children (a toddler and a baby), my mom, and our dogs. We found it to be comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet and cozy, yet still big enough for everybody to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, he was quick to respond to all my questions. We very much enjoyed our stay. "Although we only stayed over night on our way home, we found the home cheerful and comfortable. The complementary healthy snacks and coffee were a thoughtful touch. We had everything we needed to recharge from a long drive. We appreciated the fenced in yard since we were traveling with a pet. The home was spotless and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We would stay again if our travels take us in that direction. "
