Caribbean Gulf Shores

Booked this room a month ago. Loved the location and the view of the Gulf. The room was clean except for some sand on the floor which is understandable. The only issues we had was rhe sliding door to.the balcony was almost impossible to open. Reported it to Liquid Life. Otherwise a great stay

Gulf Shores Getaway

Excellent place to relax! It had everything we needed! Away from busyness but close enough to go if you desire. Perfect beach area, very clean and perfect for catching a wave or just sunbathing!

Unhappy

I want the owner to read this review. The property needs someone’s attention. The place was dirty, the elevator did not work, the pool was never cleaned, it’s a shame to pay the high prices to stay at the beach and your accommodations are terrible. I asked for a partial refund because it was that bad. I’m sure I will never hear back from that request.

Delayed check in but great vacay!!

Great condo, very comfortable for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids(11/14), more spacious than we thought it would be. Right above pool, so perfect to let older kiddos swim with supervision from balcony. Quick boardwalk to beautiful, sandy white beach! The condo had Everything we needed to cook in. Check in was delayed (hours), which was very disappointing. But vacation and condo was amazing.

Great location!

Great location, close to everything but not right in the busy part of town. Our only complaint was that the floor was filthy, as if it has never been mopped. Everyone's feet were black not long after we got there so we all made sure to wear shoes around the condo for our full stay. Other than that the place was clean and we very much enjoyed it! We will be back!

Nice place

The facility was just as shown in the pictures. It was stocked with everything we needed and it was clean on arrival. We had trouble with Netflix on our tv in the living room and I sent a text to let them know we were unable to access it and I never got a response back. There was a problem with on-site parking as there are not enough spaces to accommodate everyone. We had to park across the street a few times and it was very inconvenient if you have bags of groceries to carry in across a very busy road. The place was showing some wear and could use some minor repairs, but over all we were happy with our 2 week stay. I loved how close it was to get to the beach from the condo.

Not what we expected

The condo location was great with fairly easy beach access. The condo itself was a bit disappointing though. We arrived and dropped off our luggage and then went to find a place to eat supper. When we returned to get settled into the condo, we noticed the 2nd bedroom bed was broken. We didn’t let the kids sleep on the bed for fear of more damage being done or the bed breaking in them and causing injury. Our first evening when our oldest son went to take a shower the shower head sprayed uncontrollably and caused a great mess in the bathroom. The master bathroom lock didn’t work. The sliding closet door in the master bedroom was also broken and the laundry bifold doors didn’t close. There were no hot pads in the kitchen for use with the oven. Many dishes were dirty in the cabinets and we had to wash prior to use. Maintenance came our second day to repair the shower, stabilize the bed, and replace the door knob/lock on the bathroom door.

If I would’ve known that 99% of the time I was going to have to park across the street in a HUGE muddy mess and walk across an extremely busy road with my two year old I wouldn’t have stayed here. Also, it’s pet friendly and the other 2 condos in our hallway had dogs that barked nonstop and kept us up all night, so take that into consideration when booking, especially if you have young children. The condo itself was nice, the view was decent, and it did have easy access to the beach.

Nice relaxing beach getaway at Carribean 101

This place was an excellent location. The liquid life employees were quick to answer and help me when I had questions. The only complaints I have are the floors and living room furniture still had sand on them when we arrived. However I understand that can be almost impossible to remove. Luckily for me and my hubby who love to walk around barefoot on clean floors there was two brooms and a mop there so we were able to keep it clean as we walked to and from the beach. The beds were clean and comfortable. The master bath was spacious and the master bath tub was big. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The view from the patio was great we could see our family playing on the beach or in the pool from the patio. I liked the location of the outdoor pool because it was easy to walk from the beach to the pool. The board walk that was shown in the pictures was not in use but it was so easy to just walk right to the beach that the boardwalk really wasn’t that necessary. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

This condo was perfect for our little family. It was clean. I loved to couch. They do allow pets so keep that in mind. My sons allergies fired up while we were there. We did notice some pet hair but not alot.

Lack of communication

My wife and I arrived about 45 minutes early on Wednesday, December 26. We were told we would receive a ltext with a lock code prior to our arrival and when the condo was ready. We knew the condo was ready early because we were asked via email and text about staying a day earlier or a day later. I called for the lock code and they sent me three different lock codes. There was no ice in the icebox. We were going to make spaghetti, no pots but just two small sauce pans. There were two small skillets so there was no way we could make bacon and eggs in the morning. We had to go out and buy pots and pans. If we would’ve known they had no adequate pots, pans or skillets we would’ve brought our own. As we settled down and turned on the TV in the living room the dish network box would not power up. I tried a number of things but it still would not power up. I switched out the master bedroom box with the living room box, which took almost 45 minutes to program but it finally worked. I called and lodged a complaint about it and they took the information. About 45 minutes later we hear the doorbell ring. I wasn’t halfway up the hallway and a young black man walked in with a bag of utensils. I wasn’t happy with him just walking in as he should’ve known we were already checked in. He knocked once and walked in unannounced. The utensils did us no good as there was an ice cream scoop, a few plates and some tongs. Later in the evening after we fixed something to eat with our pots and pans we tried washing the dishes and there was no hot water. I checked all faucets, none had hot water. I figured they forgot to turn on the power switch in the electrical box behind a picture. I find out the hot water switch was off. After about 45 minutes later the water got hot. At no time did anyone managing this condo call, leave a note or message, nothing anything needing to be done. . That’s unacceptable and we are very dissatisfied with our stay. I left a message with Liquid Life Vacation Rentals, letting them know everything we had experienced. I feel at a minimum we should be reimbursed one day or more, credited to my credit card for this lack of communication and mismanagement. We will not stay at a Liquid Life Vacation rentals again. They should be embarrassed for the way they manage. I would not recommend this company to anyone wanting to stay or book a vacation rental in Gulf Shores.
