1st time at Lake Oconee

My husband and I stayed at Cuties Cottage prior to a conference in the area. The condo was very nice and had comfortable and fresh presentation. The master bath shower could use some attention. (Low water pressure and outdated shower). The views of the lake and surrounding area were beautiful. The community is meticulously maintained and has wonderful walking and biking trails. Cons-when you rent through VRBO you do not have access to the Lake Club, nearby marina, etc. you have to go direct through Reynolds Lake Oconee which could be pricier, but if you want beautiful club amenities (pool, state of the art health club, free bike usage, tennis, pickleball, etc) you have to through Reynolds. At the time of our rental, the listing said the nearby marina would rent boats. That is not true if you are not a “member” or a guest at the Ritz. The condo lacked a few basic kitchen items (wine bottle opener, teapot, and a regular coffee maker instead of a Kuerig. I called the management company, but the office is closed o the weekend. Debbie (mgmt co) did drop off a wine opener when she got my message. All in all, Cuties cottage is a beautiful, comfortable and cozy rental. If I was in the area again and needed a rental for quiet and relaxation, I would recommend it. If you are looking for an active vacation spot, you might consider other options.

Perfect location and cottage

This was the perfect cottage for our stay. It was very clean, comfortably furnished, and in a great location. We were in the area for the SoCon men's golf championship. The cottage is just minutes from the tournament's clubhouse, and that made things very easy for us—no worrying about being caught in traffic. The booking pictures are up-to-date and accurate. The Wifi is strong, and I could work on my computer while on the lovely porch. If we are in the area again, we will look to book this cottage.

Cuties cottage lake oconee

We had a wedding at the ritz Carleton this past weekend. As an alternative to staying at the ritz, we reserved this lovely vrbo just steps down the road. The unit was spic and span and beautifully and comfortably decorated. The view of the lake was beautiful and location perfect. A gorgeous area and community. I give it a 10 plus!’

Great stay-beautiful condo!

Cutie Cottage is spacious, clean, cozy and centrally located with great views. We visited Lake Oconee for a wedding and enjoyed a wonderful stay of 3 nights. The space is well designed, open, airy and the beds are very comfortable. We’d definitely book this unit again!

Unfortunately we were only able to check in late the night of the 14th and due to an emergency at our home we had to check out and were unable to return. Very nice and clean accommodations. One suggestion from our standpoint is a handrail on the solid wall in the shower as the fiberglass floor was very slick. Also smaller pillows were provided but no pillowcases were available. Cleanliness is of most importance to us and the unit was great! Would definitely book this unit again!

The condo was clean, freshly renovated, well appointed, and easy to locate. We had a small snafu with the internet that property manager Debbie was quick to help us with, which was much appreciated! We would stay there again.
