"Arkaba Hotel, my partner loves this hotel, his stayed over 50x for business, great for a man that only has to go into the bar and order his meal, and has the room upstairs, he loves the area and the place, staff are great to him that know him, rooms are good. meals are great atmosphere he loves sitting in the sports bar to have dinner and watch the golf or footy."

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. "It was very dirty. The only good thing was the cleaning lady that was lovely and the front desk worker was nice. The place doesn’t look like the photos. It was in a bad area. The bed was uncomfortable, the rooms were old. Won’t stay there again. Had no laundry when their website say they do. Door latch was dodgy and felt unsafe. "

"The hotel was nice but the bed was very uncomfortable. They pushed two beds together to make a king size but the beds were slightly not the same height making sleeping not so enjoyable. Nice location and great room other than the bed."

"We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret. "We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, and the location was excellent with easy access to everything we needed. The beds were a little too soft for my personal preference, but that's largely a matter of taste. The glass bathroom enclosure is something to be aware of if you're sharing a room—it works fine if you're very comfortable with the person you're travelling with, but it offers limited privacy.
