Wonderful

This is the best equipped apartment I’ve ever stayed in. So generous. The host has clearly thought about every single thing. Cooking was so easy as the kitchen equipment is brilliant. So we’ll equipped for kids with great cot and highchair. But mostly, this is probably the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever visited. Spotless. Will be returning!

Winter Holiday

We chose to go to Ireland in January to avoid the crowds and see the wonder of this island. This home, which has such a tremendous view served our needs perfectly. It is in a location that gave us a lot of privacy, but we were able to drive to many locations, both near and far away. We also needed something that would serve our needs for someone with mobility issues. Elaine was wonderful to communicate with and we had all the information that we needed for a successful stay thanks to Mark, who arrived when we did and showed us all the ins and outs of the home. Thank you!

Lovely stay

Great spacious apartment with beautiful costal views from the patio . Spotted dolphins in the bay one evening. Stroove beach a very short drive away which was perfect for swimming and spotting seals! Would highly recommend the apartment and area.

Beautiful spacious apartment in the most scenic location

Beautiful spacious apartment, fully equipped with three bedrooms, and two bathrooms,. Easy checkin and checkout. The perfect location for a family break . Close to the shore walk, Greencastle, Moville, Derry city and beyond.. Its actually difficult to remove yourself from looking at the dramatic scenery in front of you.

Amazing place to stay .

Owner was amazing , and also the hosts were so great , couldnt have done eneough to make our stay go to plan and made the check in and check out so easy and suited our needs tremendously. THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING ..... Quiet , little picturesque place to stay , loads to do , beaches around here are fab ,,,, We had a fab family holiday and we will definitely be back ... Apartment so spacious, and there was everything here that u would need ,, all we had to do was show up , everything you could think of was at the Apartment ... Loved it . Greencastle holiday

We found our stay in the fort apartments Greencastle fantastic. Apartment was beautiful with amazing views over lough foyle, the owner provided everything from deck chairs for the beach to coffee&tea and many other essential items you might require on holiday. The location of this property and Greencastle itself was perfect, we covered local parts of Donegal and Northern Ireland and there was so much to do for everyone, would definitely recommend this as a perfect place for all ages ,will definitely visit again plus weather was fantastic 10 out of 10. A perfect apartment

We had a brilliant holiday. The Fort Apartment is beautiful, every aspect was perfect all our home comforts with the added bonus of a perfect view, so peaceful and relaxing. The location was also perfect, so close to beautiful beaches and walking distance to all local amenities. The apartment has electric gates with private parking and immaculate grounds, with key padded gates onto the costal walk that leads to Greencastle .Our adult kids loved the banana boating and water activities at Moville. We will definitely be returning to this fantastic apartment.

Comfort and Relaxation

I went with my wife and 2 kids 8 and 9. The apartment was a home away from home. The view from the balcony was paradise. The location is perfect for discovering the wonders of Donegal . We had a wonderful holiday thanks to this awesome apartment.

Greencastle fort magic

My family and myself have just recently been for our first trip to Ireland at Greencastle fort and the apartment was amazing. A holiday home is always a big thing for me and this apartment did not disappoint from the lovely spacious layout with fantastic views to the balcony with panoramic beauty which was a pleasure to start our day and come back to after our adventures at the end of every day. Thank you to Elaine for letting us stay at her wonderful abode and Mark who met us at the start and end of our holiday was really sad to hand keys back could have stayed longer can't wait to have a return trip at future date.

superb apartment, well furnished & fitted out in a beautiful scenic setting

The apartment is situated in a unique setting of an old fort. It sits almost on the cliff edge overlooking Lough Foyle providing fantastic views from the master bedroom, lounge and kitchen - great views regardless of the weather. All rooms were well furnished and beautifully presented; loads of wardrobe space, plenty of hooks in bathroom & bedrooms, no shortage of coat-hangers. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with crockery, cutlery and all necessary machines! Self-catering was a breeze. We did dine in once or twice but also sampled a number of excellent local restaurants. We were looking to relax and chill out, pottering about locally. There are a number of easy local walks. We even managed a round of golf on one of two good local courses. The apartment would also be a good base from which to explore other parts of Donegal. This has to be one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. We look forward to returning in the future and would happily recommend it.

Pictures don’t do it justice, magnificent inside & out!

Elaine was a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is very comfortable & well organized for guests. We had no trouble acomplishing tasks, thanks to her attention to detail. The kitchen is equipped with quality appliances & cookware. The views from the interior and balcony are spectacular at all times of the day. The historical significance of the Martello Fort & adjacent Northberg Castle provide a charismatic backdrop. We found everything we needed to cook healthy meals within a reasonable driving distance from the complex. We enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
