"I love the cottage and I have stayed there four times. However, this year was different. There is a construction yard surrounding it on two sides. For me, that takes away from the peacefulness and the privacy. Every other aspect of the cottage is great. Parking is easy, location is perfect, the bed is comfortable, TV access to streaming is great and the added courtyard is pleasant."

The temperature settings were fixed and difficult to adjust for our comfort, which made it hard to relax during the stay. The rugs throughout the house, especially in the bathrooms, were very slippery and felt unsafe. Unfortunately, my daughter slipped and fell in the bathroom, which was very concerning. The shower also...

"House was listed as a 4 bedroom with office, in reality it’s a 3 bedroom with office. Was listed as 1 king bed in the master and 3 other bedrooms with queen beds. Reality one bedroom had 2 queens in it and the other was a single queen. Our group had to have someone sleep on an air mattress because there wasn’t enough beds. House was absolutely gross. Walking bare foot on the ground made our feet black with dirty, dead gnats& spider webs everywhere and nicotine seeping out of the crown molding in...

I was nervous at first, but the contact person was extremely helpful, and I would freely recommend that anyone who hasn't tried this "take a chance"; it will be worthwhile for you. Everything that they explained was available, except for one minor glitch, but even that was so minor as to be unnecessary to worry about."
