Beautiful spacious and well-stocked house! As two families with five children, we were impressed with the layout of the house that allowed us to relax during our weeklong stay. The house is set up so that the adults have a space for unwinding, while the kids have their very own spaces on the second floor or in the game room. The dining area was perfect for all nine of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with essentials. And the little extras, like snacks for the kiddos, made us feel at home.Gorgeous view and activities right at home! The view was breathtaking! The upper deck is large with several seating areas for nature watching and conversations – four Adirondak chairs as well as two chaise lounges. The grill is located at the far end, so the guys were included while they grilled up delicious dinners… It was wonderful having fun activities right outside. On days when we didn’t feel like driving all day (we drove over 1,000 miles on this trip), we could simply kayak, paddleboard, look for shells or sea glass (the beach is massive at low tide), or sit and watch wildlife – bald eagles, ospreys, river otters, etc.The location is a bit of a drive to some sights, but we simply made day trips out of the more distant destinations like Hoh Rainforest, La Push Beach, or Mount Rainier. But the essentials of groceries & restaurants were within a reasonable driving distance – 15 min.The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and kind!... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
