"We stayed at one of those tiny homes. It was cute and comfortable for six of us. The only thing is the heater. it got really hot where the queen bed was, but all the other area stayed pretty cold. So some of us were sweating at night but some of us were freezing. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Had beautiful view of mountains, got to see some deer on the site as well. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay!"

"This is such a a cool vacation spot! Close enough to the mountains to ski or board and so remote and unique. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a long day. Also communication with the hosts was straightforward and timely. You definitely need 4wd and snow tires in the winter if there is snow but we were prepared and it was not a problem."

Note: it is a good 40 min drive to Breckenridge and this property is out in the middle of the mountains that REQUIRES a 4WD in the winter. No “quick trip” to the grocery store. But if you plan ahead, this is absolutely better than staying “in town” and not missing out on all this place offers. We’re planning to go back this summer. Again, just prepare ahead of time with shopping to do meals at home and you won’t even want to leave...
