This property seems either new or updated. We were on the lower level, with access to the parking lot and our car right from our room (Motel style). It is very close to an intersection, so easy to find, however it does have traffic noise,(ear plugs are provided on the night stand next to the bed). There are blackout blinds on the windows. Room seemed small. Walls seem a little thin as could hear the neighbors. It did have a nice area with counter and lighted cabinets. Microwave and coffee maker were found in the cabinet. Nice corner work area. Shower included shampoo, conditioner and body wash in pumps on the wall. The Bistro, which is where you check in, offers salads, crepes and yogurt for breakfast. We did get a $10 breakfast voucher for each of us each day of our stay. Our opinon, a little too modern for our taste. Did like the breakfast vouchers and ease of location, easy in easy out, (at least in the of season)

I like that they restored an old historic motel. The room was nice but I think they may need new carpeting. It had a musty smell. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. The staff is great!

From the moment we walked in to an enthusiastic hello, to walking into our comfortable room, to having breakfast and chatting with the staff, we felt at home. It was probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed because of the staff like Chloe and Katie. Even the other guest we chatted with made it feel like a home away from home. If you want something different than the typical cold environment of a chain hotel, this is definitely the place to go. It’s even pet friendly. Our breakfast of crapes and coffee were so tasty. They renovated the hotel with a nod to the past and future along with the touches of Finnish or Norwegian heritage that blended seamlessly. You have to check out the Yurt too! Highly highly recommend this place. In our books it gets a 10/5. Will definitely come back here.

Checking in was very easy, staff was amazing. Taco bell across the parking lot, 10$ breakfast voucher for the morning,, crepes and coffee... its a win... shout out to front desk for being great!

Beautiful updates and very friendly staff. Convenient location. However, our room needed a good clean. Blankets were stained, bed skirt was dirty, hair in the shower, bathroom door was dirty, air filter needed to be changed a long time ago, and one of the rugs was torn and should have been thrown away. I was disappointed because it really could have been nice but I can't get over sleeping in someone else's grime.

My husband and I stayed with our toddler for a little family vacation. We all loved it! Our toddler just loved walking around the room, small but cozy and just enough room for us! The location was very modern, unique, and all the staff were fantastic! The $10 breakfast vouchers were an absolute steal! There was a great variety for crepes and yogurt bowls, amazing coffee, and great adult drinks for the evening. Our server for breakfast even remembered our coffee orders from the morning before as well as our toddler’s name! We loved, loved, loved it! My husband and I want to come back in the spring for an anniversary trip!

Nicely renovated, clean, friendly service, good breakfast. Only negatives were Bed was way too soft and parking was a bit disorganized. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends & family.

Comfortable room with a couple improvements needed
Nicely remodeled motel. We have a very nice room with plenty of space for us. It was furnished with a small table and 2 chairs, a separate 'living room' chair and two queen beds. The beds are on the softer side usually some I like, but the one we used sagged a little front to back. Bathroom was well stocked, although the water in the tub dripped. There was a convenience 'kitchen' with microwave, Keurig coffee maker (coffee supplied, standard packets of sugar, powder creamer, stir stick, napkin), toaster, small refrigerator/freezer combo (very good freezer) and two luggage rack (definitely a plus).
