Winter weekend getaway
My boyfriend and I have taken several Grand Lake winter weekend trips the last few years. This property was great. A quaint cabin that is quiet but close enough to town to walk to. Would stay here again!

It looks small from the outside but is surprisingly spacious inside and has everything you need for a cozy, comfortable winter stay for a few days. Communication with the host was great too.

Beautiful location fro quiet getaway
We had a wonderful time in Grand Lake and the cabin was a perfect place to escape to. Rebekah was super responsive and very friendly to work with. Cabin was exactly as described and pictured. We would gladly stay again.

Cabin at Grand Lake
Cute cabin! We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect location! Grand Lake is a quaint mountain tourist town, and this cabin was perfect for us! We wished we booked for longer! The host was so nice and left us a bottle of wine to toast by the fire. We loved the stay, we will be back

Adorable Cabin!
Such a fun and relaxing stay. Saw some beautiful sights. Had a full day of snow and really enjoyed coming back to the cabin to warm up by the fireplace and watch the snow continue to fall through the cabin windows. Don’t know which I liked better, the comfy chair or the sweet country rocking chair!!

Cozy cabin, but...
The bed was very comfortable! The TV reception was great. All the appliances worked well, and there was plenty of hot water! Did I mention location? Perfect! The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score, is because the cabin is in desperate need of newer furniture, and lots of TLC. Oh, I also forgot to mention, this cabin is spotless! All in all, a nice visit, but may not go back because of the little things that were in disrepair.

Simply Magic
The pictures do not do this cabin justice! It is the perfect hideaway for two, secluded but close enough to neighbors to not feel isolated, and within walking distance to town. The structure itself is a rustic cabin from the 1940s, but the interior has the modern comforts that you want. There is no wifi, but there is a decent cell reception so you aren't completely out of communication. The cabin is immaculately clean and tidy, with a super comfortable bed and linens and towels that are soft and fresh. Good water pressure in the tiled shower. Plenty of hooks to hang your hiking gear to dry out after a day of adventure on the trails! It's the perfect home base for a cozy couple who enjoys the simpler way of life.

The location was close to town but also quiet and beautiful. The cabin was clean and comfortable…and dog friendly! The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was wet comfortable. The yard was very overgrown and could use a bit of maintenance and charging multiple devices was a bit of a challenge due to the lack/location of outlets, but we managed just fine and enjoyed our stay immensely!! We’ll be back.

Very Nice Cabin
My wife and I both enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The property is conveniently located near the town center so everything is within walking distance. The cabin was just as advertised and was perfect for what we were looking for.

We provide linens, cookware, toiletries, snacks, appliances and tv, charcoal grill, outdoor table and chairs, and private firepit with seating. We are always open to additional ideas on additional items that might be helpful to our guests.

Great cabin and convenient location. Very cute!
Such a cute and well equipped cabin! It worked great for my husband and I. Tiny suggestions for improvement is the locking mechanism for the door from the outside (code-driven) and the property could use a good dusting for cobwebs on the cabin walls/ceiling. We did not see any spiders, etc. Will definitely visit again!

Plain but adequate
Some folks might find this cabin a bit too basic or rustic but for us it was perfect. Very comfortable bed, good shower, fully stocked kitchen, roomy enough for two. Rebekah was more than accommodating as a host. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Great Mountain Getaway
Very cute cabin in a great location in Grand Lake. The cabin is quaint but perfect for one or two people. The owner was very communicative, check in/out was very easy, and the cabin was reasonably stocked with enough kitchenware to get you through. Also, a there is a nice firepit in the yard. In terms of the area, you can easily walk downtown and to the lake, and there is great hiking nearby. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet weekend away in the mountains!

Our stay for a nice long weekend
The cabin is really cute. It is near the main part of Grand Lake. It is small - a two person place - but really nice and well maintained. We were in town for a wedding and this place was just perfect for us.

Great cabin
Enjoyed the location and cabin. Nice large stocked kitchen and comfy living space. Very quiet location, yet walkable to town. Having sheets in the cabin to put over the furniture for the dog was a nice touch. I’ve never seen my dog sleep so well. We will return next Fall.

Sketchy. VERY DISAPPOINTED
I did not receive the address information from the host until the day after we were supposed to check in. I tried sending her a message several times. We stopped in Grand lake and asked for help in finding the place, with no address it was impossible. We stayed at a lodge in grand lake and called you people to get the address which we did find it but we didn't have a code to get in. Therefore I called you people back and you called the host of course she said she sent me the information. The cell phone service was terrible. That could be why I didn't receive it. We DID NOT STAY THERE. I was hesitant to use vrbo now I know why. I will NOT be using it in the future. I

I am greatly disappointed to receive this information. Feedback from other guests demonstrate that I take great pride in responding quickly. Although I reached out to this guest, I never received a response. I also received no messages through VRBO, from VRBO, or any text messages. I would have certainly tried to work with the guest on this situation. I'm disappointed for all parties involved.

Rustic little cabin.
Great host and perfect spot to kick back for a few days for two of us and our small dog. Within walking distance of everything in Grand Lake Village and a short drive to the West Entrance of Rocky Mountain Park. We were there during July 4 week and very festive.

Wonderful Cabin in Grand Lake

Perfect Cozy Cabin
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay in this quaint mountain cabin in Grand Lake. Super convenient—just a few blocks from downtown—but we enjoyed sitting and reading in front of the cozy gas wood stove so much that we would have been content to never leave. But the nearby town, beautifully frozen lake, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing called out to us. Thanks for a perfectly wonderful stay in your little cabin.

The Most Darling Cabin
We have stayed at a hotel theater two times, this was the 1st time through VRBO and we won't go back to hotel stays. This place is perfect for a couple and dogs. Great location walking distance to town. Clean all the amenities you need and more. Love Aspen Grove Cottage.

Cozy cabin getaway
What a picturesque little cabin in an amazing location. Perfect size for 2 adults and 2 small dogs for a weekend away. The interior pictures leave much to the imagination, but we were pleasantly surprised with the size and layout! Had everything we needed and would love to stay again!

Perfect get away in Grand Lake
The cabin is just what I needed for a solo get-away in Grand Lake. It was perfect for just one person - a couple would do well too. It was warm and cozy, and I used the outdoor fire ring. The neighbors were out so not as much privacy sitting around the fire but still relaxing. Not a bad walk into town just bring a headlamp if walking in the dark. It was a perfect stay for my 3 nights. Rebekah was extremely easy to communicate with and gave some great suggestions on things to do. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Not close enough to the lake
Cabin is very cozy. We are not spring chickens so the walk to town was a bit long. We missed not being on/near the lake. However the aspen were beautiful! Otherwise, very nice indeed.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Although we are a block from the main street, it is about 4 blocks to the center of downtown and then a block from that point to the lake. While our location keeps us away from so much noise and traffic, it can be a hike for some folks to walk that far. Thank you for taking is all in stride, and it was a pleasure hosting you.
