"The hotel is a beautiful old house ewll kept. The problema is that we got a roonm in the basement no Windows or air. Too small and too dark for my taste. Maybe the romos upsters are nice. It also needs áreas to hang out it only offers the room and a mini reception where the front desk is."

"Overall, a nice stay. Whole space was very clean and well organized. Owner/operators are kind and are around but not nosy. Room is roomy, has a nice closet, smart TV, plenty of space to put stuff, pretty basic, bed was nothing special. Shower in shared bathroom was very nice! Quite a bit of road noise (or maybe construction?) at night AND the walls are thin - obviously nothing that can be done about this but if you are a light sleeper, maybe bring some ear plugs. "My husband and I came to stay at this place as an overnight stop on a long road trip to California. "We were visiting the area for a college football game and enjoyed our stay at the Homestead. We had a little difficulty checking in, but it seems to be a VRBO issue of not sending the proper guide on the day of check-in. Contacted the homeowner who was super helpful and sent us the guide to help us get in.
