"Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. "Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!"

"Loved this place, a little out of Cartmel but liked that, pleasant evening stroll into town, great view across the racecourse, well looked after hotel, plenty of parking Points to improve could do with some car chargers but thats a minor point, will be back"

"Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark."

"The hotel was great but getting taxis when there is a large retreat at the Budist temple can be challenging"

"Tienen el personal mas amable, son muy atentos y agradables. Por supuesto volvería. Tomen enc uenta el ruido del fin de semana, es mucho pero de domingo a jueves es nulo. El lugar es limpio y cómodo, recibes lo que pagas , el servicio es extraordinario."

"Idea for a single person exploring the south-western Lake District."

It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...

"This was an excellent place to stay, with historic ironworks in front, whitewater in behind, and a real steam-engine train passing by that looked like something out of a story book. The unit was immaculate when we arrived, and well-stocked with essentials, except we could not find bedding for the pull-out bed in the main living area. The grounds were...
