I would give 4.9 stars if that was an option as the in-house air conditioner had been broken by a prior client and was not in service. "It was quiet and peaceful - exactly what we needed. The kitchen was great for cooking breakfast. It was nice with full sized appliances. The apartment and bed were comfortable. The view was beautiful and the binoculars were a nice touch. We loved hanging out on the deck. The only negative was the short, deeply pot holed, dirt/gravel road that connected the paved road with the paved driveway. Nice place for a peaceful get away."

"We had a great stay! We did not get to stay at this house due to a plumbing issue but the owner was quick to communicate and move us to another place. Overall we had a great time and it's close to lots of stores. Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds. "

"Nos encanto la ubicación es un lugar muy tranquilo y se acomodo a nuestras necesidades. Solo un comentario y es que las personas que limpian podrían hacerlo más detalladamente ya que encontramos cosas debajo de las camas como una pijama de bebe sucia ( nuestro grupo éramos solo adultos así que no era de nosotros) y algo de basura aparte de eso todo estuvo bien."

"We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. "The place was nice, clean, and comfortable. We were out and about a lot, but the time we did relax was really enjoyable and the view is amazing. The drive up the hill to get to the property was an experience, but overall we'll definitely stay here again when we return to visit."
