Happy holiday home for adults, children & pets

My stay was perfect...a large roomy home with a large garden with BBQ....lots of outdoor living areas suitable for a family or 2 families...plenty of space for various aged children/ young people as well as adults A very generous variety of toys, books & movie plus a trampoline....no need to bring any from your home. I had this home all to myself & small dog but very suitable for a larger group....a lovely big fridge & a big plus is the "small pantry " with a generous supply of the basics..eg cereals, salt & pepper etc The owners , Michelle and Phillip are helpful, friendly & generous...nothing was a problem...never felt a nuisance! Philip came to help me open up & showed me around...Spoke with Michelle several times, she sounded a lovely person even checking i was travelling safely...I was driving up from Sydney!

Very Misleading & OVERPRICED

1. Gaining clarity on the entrance procedure and the actual address needed some patience. 2. CIGARETTE BUTTS in the garden and surrounds as well as dried up dog poo. 3. House was tidy and quaint, nothing fancy. ADVERTISED to host up to 12 but the 3 fold out beds didn't fit in the bedrooms and the bunk beds in the rooms are NOT appropriate for adults - very flimsy and cheap quality. Half our party slept on the floor together in the lounge room - not worth it! 4. The DISHWASHER was broken and didn't work, it is the cheapest dishwasher on the market and now know why. We informed the owners and they made no attempt to have it looked at while we were there. 5. BE SURE TO TAKE A PHOTO OF WHERE EVERYTHING GOES BECAUSE WE WERE CHARGED RIDICULOUS AMOUNT FOR NOT PUTTING THINGS BACK PROPERLY. This is the first time we've used STAYZ and thought it was a trustworthy site to book through, thinking they'd have clear guidelines that would hold both clients and house owners accountable. We lost a portion of our bond with no support or mediation from STAYZ.

Very quiet and clean

Plenty of room two bathrooms both very clean found everything we needed from cooking to ice bags to keep food cold on day trips. Huge backyard great for families.

Michelle has been the kindest, most amazing person to deal with. The property was amazing & they went above and beyond to have the place set up to the highest standard. Highly recommend staying here & I'm pretty sure we will be back next year :-)

Queensland Holiday

We had a great time in this property. We traveled with a 9 year old, 6 year old and 2 year old and they loved the back yard and trampoline. The little one also loved all the toys and the DVD's while we adults we delighted with the set up in the house. It was really well equipped and we were lacking nothing. I would happily recommend the property to anyone looking for a great house, well equipped and well located.

Me and my family recently stayed at your property, before even coming in to the house we were welcomed by Michelle and Phil and were warmly greeted and shown the house. The house was clean and tidy and had everything and more we needed for our holiday away. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about staying here. It was very kid friendly which was a bonus as well as the location, only a short drive to surfers paradise and the theme parks.

Welcoming and just like home.

The property was great and suited our family very well. When we walked in it was just like being at home with all the home comforts and a relaxed feel. The bedrooms were a good size and the living areas were very spacious and comfortable. The lovely touch of a "Pass it On" pantry was great too- it was full of lots of food supplies and the idea that if you used something that you replaced it for the next guests was a great idea! Close to shops and a short drive to the theme parks. Will definitely stay again.
