A relaxing stay

Fabulous Accommodation

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed with Karen and Antony at Coastal Runaway. It’s just perfect for the three of us - two adults and our fur baby. The studio is very well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the location is brilliant; walking distance to the beach and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay. Only thing I would suggest is putting up blinds on the front windows as there is houses on the hill and you cannot get changed.

A little luxury!

The studio is lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The decor is neutral with lovely personal touches, the air con is efficient (a must for us Brits in Aussie summer) the shower room is small but functional with lashings of hot water. The location is wonderful, on the canal and very central for getting out and about. The icing on the cake is your hosts. Karen and Anthony we unobtrusively helpful, knowledgeable about the area and charming hosts, taking time for a chat but leaving us to enjoy the wonderful facilities (pool, deck, pontoon) when appropriate. We have no hesitation in recommending this property and would return again in a heartbeat.

perfect canal living vacation

This place is fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay. Karen and Antony are the perfect host. This is our second time here in 2 months we loved it so much. We stayed in the studio apartment which suited all our needs. Prior arrangement with Karen allowed us to be able to park our boat at their pontoon for the week so no getting the boat in and out of the water every day which was a great asset we felt. Next time we are coming down for a holiday we will be staying here, it is just the best.

Great location and hosts

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Karen and Antony were fantastic and are just the best hosts. We liked it so much that we are going back again in a couple of weeks for a longer stay. We had the studio apartment which had everything we needed for our visit.
