"Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay."

Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome."

"We had an amazing stay. Bob and Liz were lovely and friendly hosts, provided a really nice breakfast and a nice, tasteful welcome package in the fridge. The authentic cottage was a lovely and peaceful place to stay, well renovated and well accomodated. As is the case in most cottages, some of the beams and ceilings are quite low, so watch your head. "If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. "Bastante buena experiencia. Algo de problemas con su check-in automático que simplemente no se completaba (parecía relacionado a haber resevado por plataforma). Lo demas bastante bien, el personal fue muy amable, atento y nos ayudaron mucho cuando fue necesario. Le restamos una estrella porque no hacen limpieza diaria de la habitación, pero no lo indican, parece como que un "opt-in" pero en realidad no hay otra opción. Lo entendemos por cuidar agua, falta de personal pero deberían ser más claros u ofrecer alguna compensación por ello. El buffet bastante limitado pero suficienctey de gran ayuda. Las habitaciones en buenas condiciones aunque la nuestra tenía una mínima fuga de agua en el toilet lo que me preocupó por constantemente dejar escapar un poco de agua."
