Alison was great with communication. Check-in and Check-out was very easy and the house was everything and more! The amenities inside the house were above and beyond the basic essentials most rental properties provide. There was a new deck just built that was perfect to spend time on for our large group. The newer bar by the beach area is fun as well. Perfect for a group vacation! The only feedback I have is we booked the property because of the beach, dock and water front area with plans of being able to float and hang out in the water while hanging out on the beach and the dock. The bank was very full of seaweed bringing in dozens of fish (that were biting) and several snapping turtles. That made the waterfront area undesirable making us feel like we needed to get the boat to get away from that area. The water itself is beautiful and clear so zero complaints about the water and lake once you got out on it, it was too bad we had to take the boat to reach enjoyable water when we really would’ve loved to have the convenience of spending time at the house on the beach along with spending time in the water.

The house i beautiful and the size was perfect for our family. The check in orocess was super easy. The owner answered all our questions quickly and was very nice. The property had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Fhere are 2 fridges which was convenient for such a large family. The beds are comfortable and there are extra fabs and pillows in the closets. We rented the pontoon boat and went out to the sand bar and anchored in some deeper water to swim. The lake is small but that was nice since it wasnt super busy like a larger lake would be. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, on a dead end street. We went to lake michigan for a day and it was only a 35 minute drive. I highly recommend this property. It has everything you need for a nice family vacation.

Wonderful Lakefront Getaway

This property was well maintained and perfect for 9 adults. Alison was a great host! Would happily stay here again. We had a perfect weekend for boating and hanging outside.

House was great, lots of open space for our family to hang out, and it had everything you could ever need and then some! Didn't even need to use half of the items we packed because the house already provided so much. Lots of amenities, beach was very nice and very clean. Lake was perfect and our whole family kayaked and paddleboarded. Very peaceful looking out at the lake while sitting on the new deck! Thank you so much Alison!!

Lake House with it all

We needed 5 bedrooms for a family vacation. We wanted to visit Lake Michigan which is only 35 minutes away. We loved every minute at this house on an 86 acre lake. The house was clean and stocked with about everything we could have needed from spices to sunscreen to a large assortment of games. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but fished off the dock, kayaked, and rented their pontoon boat. I honestly have not stayed at a vrbo with so much to offer. The new expanded deck facing the lake was wonderful! The host was quick to respond and very helpful/answered all our questions. I highly recommend a stay at this lake house!

Family vacation

We had the best days staying at this home!Alison was beyond accommodating! And made our days the best they could be.. we did everything the property had to offer,( plus great R&R) We will have long lasting forever memories! This was a great home away from home for our family of 10! Definitely want to go back for more fun in the sun and R&R! It was the BEST!

Perfect summer retreat

Alison's place was perfect for our friend group. Comfortable beds, plenty of space in common areas for hanging out indoors, and a fantastic kitchen set up for cooking meals. The real star is the outdoor areas - the deck was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning, and the kayaks/paddle boards made it so easy to enjoy the lake. The option to rent the pontoon boat was a great perk as well. Muskrat Lake was a wonderful, quiet spot to get away and enjoy a beautiful summer weekend. We would love to return some day!The house does have some very steep steps, which might be an issue for those with more limited mobility.

Perfect stay!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay in Gobles. Alison was a fantastic hostess- so flexible and easy to be in touch with if we needed anything. The house was lovely and big. The kitchen was super well stocked with any kitchen tool you would need as well as spices and condiments. We spent most of time on the big beautiful porch or outside by the fire pit. We took advantage of the stand up paddle boards and kayaks. My husband even caught 3 fish! We hope to vacation at this home again.

Fun family vacation

I visited with my whole family from an 18month old grandson to my 88 year old mother. Plenty of room and activities for all! Many trips on the pontoon boat to relax and fish. Kayaking, games sandy beach and plenty of tools to build castles. Well stocked kitchen and table big enough for 10-12. Enjoyed everything about this place!

Perfect end of summer escape

The extended family spent the last weekend of our college aged kids' summer at this perfect lake house. There was plenty of room for everyone and our dog. The house was comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed both in the kitchen and to play on the lake. The lake was warm, perfect for swimming and quiet and. We spent nights playing games around the huge table or on the deck watching the stars. We could not have found a better house. re to

Family Vacation

The property was just like the pics. It had plenty of space for the whole family and a kitchen table that fit all 10 of us. We spent most of the time in the back yard, dock, or in the water. We had a great stay and the owner was patient with our questions and got back to us promptly.
