Perfect Getaway Destination

We loved our time spent on Kentucky Lake. The home is very comfortable and has every amenity. There is a lot of space, so a group of ten won’t feel crowded. The access to the water is very convenient and the scenery is beautiful.

Cabin o the cove

Very lovely and accommodating. Tim Lewis was wonderful to rent from. Enjoy our time tremendously. Plenty of room. My trip to dock was difficult because of my broken leg. But a very steep incline.?

Perfect trip for the weekend!

This house is beautiful and in a great location on the lake. Our group had 12 girls and we were able to fit comfortably. This house was perfect for our annual lake trip, but Tim made it even better! He is super easy to communicate with and treated us like family. We had a great time hanging out around the dock on floats. Overall could not have asked for a better experience. We will 100% be staying at this property again in the future!

Fourth of July Weekend at the Lakehouse

Tim was awesome greeted us upon arrival with hug and made us feel right at home. Even offered to help us bring our bags in. The house is beautiful and accommodated all our needs from grandchildren to great grandparents. The view of the lake was inviting and relaxing.

Amazing property!

We arrived fathers day week to spend time with my sick father, for fathers day. The house is very clean and nice. The owner, Tim, was super friendly! The hill is pretty steep. Difficult if you have mobility issues. They were doing work on the property at the time of the visit. But stayed mostly out of our way. Would definitely recommend.

Family Wedding

We stayed at Cabin on the Cove while attending a family wedding nearby. We had no idea how large and beautiful Kentucky Lake was and were so pleased with the home, views and the lake. The home was everything we expected and more. Clean, updated and all the comforts of home. The screen porch was my favorite! I enjoyed my morning coffee and book while relaxing in the swing on the porch, it was a great way to start the day. The 2 story deck was great as well, I wish we would have had more time to spend out there. The accommodations are well thought out, extra pillows, blankets, peg racks in the bedrooms for hanging bags, jackets, hats... Cabin on the Cove was a 5 star experience. Thank you Tim.

Stay before my wedding

Perfect for weekend getaway!

My family stayed at this property for the KHSAA Bass Fishing State Tournament. We really enjoyed our stay! House is new and nicely decorated. The house was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The (4) bedrooms are located across 3 floors so everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. The beds were very comfortable. There’s a nice, deep soaking tub in the upstairs bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals. This house is a new construction and is completed. But, the yard is still all mud. There was a small sod area out front but grass was high. They are working on completing the landscaping. The screened in porch was lovely to hang out on with a nice view of their cove. There is a small dining table and some chairs. I’d recommend adding some comfortable loungers or Adirondacks to the bottom sundeck for relaxing and reading. We appreciated having Alexa dots throughout the house to ask for the forecast or play music. There is a very cool fireplace insert in the family room. The only TV in the house is downstairs in the lowest level. We would’ve appreciated another tv either in the master upstairs or the kitchen/family room area. The driveway is VERY steep, but the owners let us park on a flat spot on their adjoining lot. The owner, Tim, couldn’t have been more friendly, responsive or helpful! We will stay there again!

New home with amazing views!

We enjoyed our stay, Tim and his wife worked hard to have the home ready and comfortable. The screened in porch and game room was a huge hit. Despite the area recovering from the Tornado Tim had everything ready for us to enjoy our vacation. The dock worked great to tie our boat and sea doos up safely. Definitely recommend this home!

Eagle sightings

House, location, and host were AWESOME. There were 8 adults and we couldn't have asked for a better time--even got treated to a free Derek Stoner concert over Labor Day weekend. Loved the dock access in the cove. Plenty of room for us in the house and the cove views with eagle was icing on the cake. Highly recommend this property!

A great time at the lake

Tim was amazing, he even greeted us as we were pulling in. Everything was well represented, and Tim was available for any help if we needed him. We had a great time and recommend it to anyone else looking for a great lake house.

Great cabin

Tim and Jane were great host. We enjoyed our stay. We had 6 adults and 3 kids. The cabin accommodated all of us. There is a shared dock which we had no problems with. Our 16 foot boot fit perfect. There is a ladder at the dock for everyone to use while swim off the dock. There is a beach about 4 mins away which we went to a few times. The kids had a wonderful time. We stayed Sunday to Saturday. The lake was very quite until Friday. Thanks so much Tim!

Wonderful getaway!

This home was clean and ready for our family of 6 (plus a couple of cousins)! We had everything we needed. The kids had a lot of fun playing air hockey and we all enjoyed access to kayaks on the beautiful, quiet inlet. Thanks for sharing your space!

Great location, wonderful host

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was as pictured on vrbo. The kids (9, 9, 8, and 3) enjoyed swimming off the dock and using the kayaks in the calm inlet. They also loved the air hockey game on the bottom floor. The location is great, just minutes from Moor's Marina. Tim is the best host I have ever had while renting on vrbo. He sent me a very informative booklet about the house and area which was extremely helpful and also stopped by to make sure all was ok during our stay. Would definitely rent from him again!

Comfortable Cabin on the Cove

The house is wonderful! With three floors and 3 bathrooms, everyone had plenty of space and privacy. There are lots of steps to get to the pier, but that was the same with every house along that end of the lake. Lake is gorgeous and we had the best time on the rented pontoon. Tim (owner) came by - very nice man. Good time was had by all.

Thanksgiving stay
