The house was amazing. As advertised. The amenities were more than adequate. The view was incredible and we enjoyed the views. The bed was very comfortable and the house more than met our needs. The only downside was the 1.5 mile dirt/clay road which was the only access point. It was raining when we arrived and the road was a muddy mess. We were in a midsized SUV and made it through but a smaller vehicle might have gotten stuck. Love the property

Overall the view was beautiful and we were comfortable. The cleanliness is the only call out. There was mold in the kitchen trash can. The vents had a good amount of dust on them. The floors were mostly clean but the corners, the closets and along the trim was dirty. Seems like it could use a more thorough cleaning. Furniture/fixtures were damaged, rusted or stained. Bedrooms were good. Patio was a real savior for those hot days to stay cool and bug-free.

Gross….but the view was pretty

The location and view were amazing. The pictures must be pretty old. The property was filthy. Balls of human hair rolling around. Gummy worms on the floor. Kitchen trash can was disgusting…the part you see and the part you shouldn’t .The property manager’s response was…..sorry, we’ll give you 30% off cleaning fee. It was gross! When we were leaving, we discovered where the smell was coming from. The septic tank was over flowing into the yard. Property managers response was sorry that must be unpleasant. Thanks for letting us know, like I work for her.

Perfect on Lake Murray

If you're traveling to Lake Murray, everything about this hose is perfect. If you're pulling a boat, great dock with deep water access on the south side of the lake midway up. Literally had bass boats fishing the dock when we checked in and Striper Charters pulling boards about 500yds out. A couple boat ramp options VERY close by. The property and house are very well kept and pics don't do the views of the lake justice. Check in and check out was easy and I received a couple courtesy emails from Wendy during the week to check in and make sure everything was going well. Regular VRBO customer here and I travel across the country. Rent this one without concern. GREAT PLACE and over delivers everything it promises.

What a beautiful property! right on the lake, view was amazing! The home was beautiful. We spent all our time on the screened in porch. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Very clean inside the home! We will be back!

Gone Fishing

Home cleanliness is immaculate, completely renovated, outside could use a little more attention in-between cleanings but due to weather and location I know it's hard to keep pollen and tree debris from accumulating. View is absolutely the best, lake view from bedroom, living room and has screen porch to enjoy fresh air in the home with no pests/bugs flying in. Surrounding area: both homes on each side looked vacant which at night seems a bit scary but home has plenty of outdoor lights and during our stay we didn't encounter any issues but what I will include is home is located on dirt road. Dock and lake is where we spent majority of our time fishing which was great for people who enjoy this hobby, not to mention JC outdoors is just a short drive down the road that serves food and has all your outdoor necessities. Communication with property management was a hit or miss but check in and out through the link they send by text is self explanatory. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and if we ever visit Gilbert SC again, more than likely we will reserve this location.

Great Getaway!

We loved the house. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The only faults I have are the slatted bathroom doors that allow so much light to enter room at night and the frosted glass on barn door to master that does not lock.

The Perfect Vacation Spot

This wonderful home on Lake Murray checks all the boxes for the perfect vacation. The location on the lake provides for a constant breeze coming off the water and sunsets that just get better and better the lower the sun travels. The home is beautifully decorated - my guess is that this was a total redo as everything is very modern and all the appliances are state of the art The wrap around screened in porch is where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and relaxing and dinner in the evening - we never even turned the tv on! Already looking to go back soon and stay longer! Great spot!
