"Helpful host!"

"The yard was knee high and the neighborhood was not safe to walk the dog in"

"Easy check-in process, really helpful hosts and a great property! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a spacious stay with great views on Lake Murray. The only comment I have is that the rooms got hot at night upstairs so maybe bring a fan if you are a hot sleeper like we are."

"The house is beautiful and the views stunning. It is very comfortable and spacious and the setting is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and you can tell that in its heyday it was a very well built home. We did have some issues that resulted in a couple poor rating areas that need to be addressed. I didn't pay attention to the less than perfect reviews as there were so many great reviews but I encourage all to read them carefully to decide whether to rent this house. The...

"Host was very responsive in communication, location was good. Only negative was the beds were VERY hard. Didn’t get good nights sleep "

"Stay was amazing, I'd stay again, but I would bring my own pans, those pans in the house I'd consider an embarrassment and would never feed my family off those. I was sad the can opener was broken. Overall for how much it costs the toilet paper and paper towels could be nicer, not trying to complain either just being completely real. I would have so much fun doing a remodel on this house the gorgeous potential it has."

"What a dream. Great accommodations. Property is well maintained and so comfortable. Beds are great. The kitchen is properly stocked from cooking utensils to appliances and dish-ware. We have had a terrific time and our host was at the ready to assist in any helpful manner we may have required. Can highly recommend. Love being at the lake and will delightfully return. Five stars."

"This was just a quick overnight stop for my party of 9. There was plenty of space for everyone. I would say this property needs some TLC and a deep clean. The cost for one night was far more than the property warranted, in my opinion."

"We really enjoyed Lazy Creek Cottage. It was the perfect weekend for our son’s Univ of SC and we loved staying in the Chapin/ Lake Murray area. The property was impeccably clean and the location idyllic overlooking the lake. We used the paddle boards and the hot tub. Jesse, the property manager was great. We would stay here again. "The pictures of the house are heavily filtered. It says newly renovated but it is literally falling apart. The beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced as well. The walls have holes from what looks like someone trying to find a stud with a nail. The place was clean but the walls are stained. The biggest thing was the floor in the bathroom area was severely rotted to the point of falling through. I tried to contact the management company and got nothing but automated responses....
