Stay Here!

This house exceeded our expectations for a vacation house. Extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fun lake trip! The house was well maintained, clean, spacious and comfortable. Extremely kid friendly which was a nice surprise. We enjoyed utilizing the large yard, playground, kayaks and paddle boards, outdoor patio and deck space and fun downstairs area while hanging out at the house. Highly recommend for your Seneca Lake vacation!

Great Place for a Family Get Together

Our group of cousins and sisters were very impressed with Wide Open Views. We particularly liked the lower level which walked out to the lakefront patio. The house was very roomy for 6 adults and in a great location for east side wineries and breweries on Seneca Lake. Highly recommend this place for family get togethers. Although we did not have any children with us - there are nice amenities - big swing set, high chair, kids utensils/plates, and a cozy TV room.

Absolutely beautiful

Home is beautiful, extremely clean and well stocked. There was plenty of space for our group of 8 and it could easily accommodate more people. Management company was very responsive. Although it wasnt warm enough for us to spend a significant amount of time outside, the outdoor seating was plentiful and there is a very nice dock also. Would highly recommend this home.

Amazing Stay

Amazing weekend with friends! The house had more than enough room for 10 adults, was clean, and had everything we needed. I wish we could stay here every weekend! Very responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Views

We had an amazing week at Wide Open Views. The house was clean and the views from the kitchen, living room and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms were beautiful. We loved being able to see the kids by the lake from inside the house. Having a second kitchen downstairs made it easy to prepare meals to eat outside on the patio. The paddle boards, kayaks, and canoe were a big hit with our family. The large dock was great to sit and read a book while watching the kids play in the lake. We used the firepit to make s'mores and to sit around on the few cool nights we had. The flat front yard was fun for games of tag and pickle ball. The sunset across the lake every evening can't be beat. The house itself was on a quiet, private road and was close to several wineries and activities for the kids. We loved our stay and can't wait to return!!!

House was double booked

When we arrived to check in at our house at 4:20pm was already occupied by another group. We had booked and paid in full this specific property back in May 2021. We selected this property for its location bc it was exactly where we needed to be. Once we got through the property manager, they offered us another property that would accommodate our group and was a “better” property. Whereas, the property was nice but it was over an hour away from where we needed to be. It ended up costing us over two hours of drive time, gas and inconvenience. In addition, the house was still on lake front but way up on an incline and the house didn’t have much open/shared spaces as our original house. I am extremely disappointed in that we weren’t offered a discount, refund or any offers to correct the double booking that was NOT our fault.

"As Advertised and Great Visit!"

We were four couples staying over Labor Day Weekend and we feel as though we totally lucked out with how well the house and its location worked out. In addition to its proximity to Geneva and Seneca Lake attractions, the house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Check-in was super easy and there was a quick response to any questions. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies and easily accommodated all of our needs. The best amenity was the outdoor space with direct access to the lake. We took full advantage of the patio and grill, in addition to the single person kayaks, canoe and SUP, and lakeside firepit. The house definitely gave you "a sense of place," and we had a terrific visit exploring vineyards, breweries, hiking and simply enjoying each other's company in a wonderful setting.

Wonderful vacation

Everything we needed was at Wide Open Views! The outside space speaks for itself. With 5 boys under the age of 11, things inside the house can get a little chaotic but we had plenty of space outside to play lots of yard games. This house has become special to our family and we are so thankful for all the time we have there together!

Seneca lake view get away

just spent a relaxing stay here. more than enough rooms for our group. we fished ,explored the area around the lake (wineries) and told stories around the fire, the place was clean and spacious we would rent this again for a weekend stay.

Fantastic Lakeside Views

I booked this for a last minute family trip and it honestly was perfect! The house was thoroughly cleaned and we had everything we needed to have a fun weekend on the lake. The kitchens were both well stocked with pans, plates and utensils to handle cooking for our big family and we’re close by to some great vineyards as well! It was a great location because Geneva has everything you need and the lake views were just gorgeous. I would like to note that the downstairs can get hot but honestly my family didn’t mind because we were having so much fun. The great part was the downstairs had two futons that we put our teenagers on and it worked out great! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

A much needed vacation!

Everything about Wide Open Views was perfect! Joleen was quick to reply to any questions and the house was equipped with everything we needed! We had a large family vacation and everyone was able to have their own space but gather together for family time. The yard is huge and we had so much fun playing games! Swimming was also a ton of fun and the house has plenty of water toys! So thankful for our wonderful stay!
