The place was a little dated. Lighting needs to be updated in kitchen and dining room. Definitely need a new pull out couch. Hot tub was awesome. Overall, OK, but not worth the 250 bucks a night.

We had a blast and actually would stay again, especially for the private hot tub. The beds were very comfortable, the home itself was nice and cozy. It is right along the coolest walking path that goes to the beach but also goes the other way to the Neccium river estuary.Its in a nice neighborhood along the golf course. Inside there is a note that says it has "no thrills and frills" which isn't a problem for me, however the screens in the bedrooms were so subpar, the holes and tears were "patched" with duct tape, like the entire length of the window. Plus the online listed clearly stated that the home had coffee and spices. So we didn't bring either, and to our disappointment there was absolutely no coffee and not even salt or pepper. We bought some disposable ones and left them for the next guests. Another things that was a surprise was after arrival my husband and I took took showers and did 2 loads of laundry, and this house is on a septic tank and the smell was horrible. I think the tank may need to be drained. I also believe the deck needs some anti slip strips, not only does the hot tub make it slick, but our Oregon weather does too, my husband slipped and fell and he had shoes on. Oh and it would be nice to have a LARGE pot to boil water/cook in. We brought corn on the cob but it was difficult to cook because they only had medium pots. There were plenty of options for pan sizes however. But I believe ever kitchen needs a tall vairly wide pot. We will come back though.

Lovely Gearhart cottage

We enjoyed staying in the Ridge Path Cottage in Gearhart. It's on a quiet street near the golf course, with easy access to downtown. The cottage was clean and welcoming, and the beds were great.

This was a great little place for my family!! It’s in a perfect, quiet location close to the beach, we walked down to every night…and walking distance to local shops for coffee in the mornings and ice cream treats in the evening!!The hot tub was perfect after days of exploring Seaside shops and the beaches.I also loved the story on the wall of the history of the house of the owners’ grandparents. We will definitely return to this place in the future.

Pros:Location was great, communication was easy and attentive. Pretty much knew way we were getting. Hot tub was nice. Cons:Not super clean (cobwebs in corners, big carpet stains) and also in need of basic repairs (bathroom faucet is wonky, tv screen fuzzy)Overall:We rented it because we needed a place to sleep and make a few small meals, not to hang out at, so, for that we got what we needed.

The place was fine. I was not able to connect to the internet, which was very inconvenient. I was unable to connect to a zoom call I was supposed to be on. I tried multiple times and called customer service, but it appears as if the passcode was incorrect. The modem was working and we were able to watch Netflix, but unable to connect to the network.

Great weekend getaway location

Great location, close to the beach and the golf course. Cozy and perfect for the weekend. Lots of room to cook and the hot tub was terrific. Nothing fancy, just what we were looking for. Would definitely go back.

A piece of my heart

From check in and response time to anything was amazing. The place is charming small cottage down a quiet road. Everything was well stocked. Although we had found some weird stains on the bedding provided for us. And an ant problem, which was at this time of year is not surprising. The communication between us and the owner was fast and swift!! You cant find response times like that very often!! The hot tub worked and was quite nice after long walks. Close to town and other tourist attractions. Even with small little things this place knocked it out of the books for calm and serene. I would most definitely come back to this charming house. It was in my VRBO experience a wonderful stay. The plus was reading the history of the house past occupants.

Really. Nice and relaxing. But the bath sink drain needs to be cleaned really slow, the 2 large burners on the stove need to be replaced. Other than that really enjoyed staying here

Quaint

Quite a traditional vacation rental with its simplicity. A place to be comfortable and “at home” while away from home. As it says…Grandmas cabin. Exploring the neighborhood felt quiet and quaint.
