Nice location but house had some issues

We loved the location, house was big enough for our group, and landscaping was nice. The house was mostly clean, but the house supplies were not the best. There was only 1 garbage bag for the 3 day weekend, the garbage was not Emptied from previous renters, and kitchen did not have alot of supplies. There were bikes that owner book said we could use, but they were locked up with no padlock code. We had issues with the upstairs toilet, and the upstairs smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. Also, under the master bedroom floor there is some kind of pump that randomly kicks on and off. It's pretty loud, and woke us up the first night. Probally would not pick this house again unless updated.

Great property for family group

We were very satisfied with our stay at this property. It is well stocked with family games and supplies for our stay. They provided shampoo/conditioner, hand soaps and dishwashing liquid. Area was nice and quiet and fairly close to places we wanted to go. Check in/out was very easy. The room upstairs was perfect for the teenagers. Would highly recommend this place.

Coast in September

Nice property and location (quiet cul de sac). Clean, plenty of space and layout good (except access to upstairs bedrooms was via garage). Main knock was lack of entertainment systems (no smart tv access, screens too small for rooms, no sound bar, no way to play music).

A Very Roomy Place

This place is great for groups. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths. Roomy kitchen, living area, dining room! Great Master with private bath and king bed. Nice outdoor areas. Tons of furniture.

Great stay for a family weekend vacation

This place was perfect for our weekend trip in Seaside/Cannon Beach! There was way more space than we anticipated, so everyone was able to spread out. The big garage and dinner table was great for our family meals and playing games. We’d love to stay here again next time we are in the area!

Great getaway

The house is huge and great for big groups! There were 5 of us so it was great for that! One of the biggest downfalls was that we were told we could check in at 4:00pm and housekeeping showed up right before us. Saying we could come in but not move in yet. Dishes were dirty so we had to wash everything before using. Which isn’t the biggest issue but if the dishes are dirty, don’t put them away as if they’re clean. The people before us had a crab broil, which housekeeping said to not set the trash can out for pick up because the cab was half full, but the can was super stinky. I think that besides the housekeeping person, everything was great. We would stay there again.

We stayed here for the week of Christmas and we had a fantastic week! From plenty of space for everyone, bikes, and great location! We would stay here again!

Where’s the mop!!

This house needs a deep cleaning. There was gum stuck on the floor in the master bathroom, hair in the sinks, dirty kitchen cabinets. There was also pet hair on the wicker chair in the living room, although they don’t allow pets. Someone didn’t follow the rules. Location was fairly good but a long walk to the beach. It is a nice house but again needs a deep cleaning! Could use a coat of interior paint to freshen it up and be more inviting in general.

Our family enjoyed our stay

This home was perfect for our family. Having the bedrooms separated by the garage was certainly unique, but because my grandchildren are older (late teens & early 20s) it was ideal for them to have their own space. It was a perfect location for golf & walking along the ocean. We would certainly rent this property again if we revisit the area.

Not the best if you have small children.

The loft, where we slept, is not made for small children. Cut off from main house, steep stairs with narrow treads. Shower was not very good; pressure great but spray was painful. Back deck has no railing and a little bit of a drop off. Lots of deferred maintenance on the house. Close to beach, great bakery and McMenamins though!

Nice layout to accommodate a large group.

Only wish there were two hot water tanks to accommodate multiple showers for a large group of folks. Other than that it was a dream! Great time had by all!!

Fun place to stay

Group size: 6 (2 adults, 4 kids) Stayed 2 nights. The house was bigger than expected. The kids had loads of fun. It was in a great location close to the beach and just outside of Seaside. The furniture could use some updating and the floors were creaky in several areas of the house. Some of the walls had smudges on them and the pots and pans should probably be replaced but they did the job. We would definitely return for another stay.

Wonderful use of space! Very comfortable! Would love to be here with better weather to use deck!

Only room for improvement would be to replace the oven. Everything I cooked in it burnt on bottom and was way undercooked on top. Did not matter how or what I put in!
