Justin our host was awesome always responded very fast. Wonderful communication.The cabin was very comfortable, the beds were very comfortable.Felt as your were at home. Loved the location very convenient to everything.The bears were awesome outside the cabin. Nellie and her cubs were so cute.Definitely would rebook here again. Wonderful stay.

Great location, close to town and the park entrance. Loved the local bear Nellie and her cubs (who actually opened our van door and went through the whole thing to the back and then out without leaving a scratch (just mud) - Thank God I removed all food the night before!!) The property had everything we need for our family of 5. The only issue was a horrible sewer smell in the hall bathroom that needs to be addressed and a few too many bugs, spiders, and mosquitos, in the house. Overall a good stay though and communication from owner was great.

Beautiful house in an excellent location just outside of the Main Street in Gatlinburg. Be wary of bears — you are in their backyard. We saw bears and even cubs from the property (including ON the upper porch) nearly every day. They were not aggressive, but give them space and respect. The owners/property managers were very responsive to address any and all needs during our stay.The house is well appointed for a family with kids— has kids’ books, plates/cups, highchair, pack n play, though we did not need/use them. There were also books for us adults to read up on the area — helpful since there was a landslide cutting off newfound gap road, and changing our vacation plans. Kitchen is excellent — plenty of room to prepare food at home. Would have liked some Pyrex baking dishes, but really can’t complain overall. Note that there is no hot tub as mentioned in the guidebook. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely consider renting this property in the future.

Hope to Stay Again - Thank you!

We had a great experience staying in this cabin! The owner communicated quickly and answered our questions in a timely fashion. The cabin was close to town, yet, we felt like we were secluded. Contactless check-in was easy. The cabin was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. The wall of windows across two sides of the main living space allowed us to see the beautiful surroundings, as well as plenty of bears...mamas & cubs Out of five days, we had bear sightings at the cabin, on all but one day. The bears came up on the deck and we were able to get plenty of pictures and video. Make sure to follow the owners suggestion to lock your cars. We did come out the first day to find paw prints on three of our four car doors. Our kids are older and understand bear safety,.so the bears were an added perk for our family.We used the gas grill three out of five evenings and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, even some things that cabin owners sometimes don't consider. There were grilling necessities, plenty of dishes, serving pieces, cookware, a Keurig, and even a crockpot available. The long table allowed us all to eat together and was a place where we played games as a family most evenings. There were plenty of towels/wash-clothes and extra blankets. The beds were very comfortable. Our family came here for some calm, quiet, together time and we were not disappointed with our choice to stay here. We really hope to come back! Thank you!

Property was easy to access in my Expedition- very well-equipped/stocked, clean, nice, and was decorated beautifully. Lots of large windows with natural light, beautiful deck and views. Beds slept well. House is located close to town but far enough away from the crowded streets of Gatlinburg- views were beautiful from upper deck and you didn't feel too close to any other homes, in my opinion. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again for future trips to the area!!

Cute place

Overall it was close to town and enough space for us. We had our kids 2 friends with us so we needed 3 bedrooms. There was a note about the neighborhood bear Nellie (which my kids were excited about) but maybe a note to leave the outside porch lights on might be helpful as we left early in the morning to go to Dollywood and came back late at night to find the bear with her 2 cubs right outside the house. That was pretty scary for someone who is not used to seeing bears…we waited until she left but it’s nerve wracking to say the least to have to enter a 10 digit door code to get in (and being dark out). My suggestion if possible would be to make a 4 digit code as it was quite annoying to look up this long 10 digit door code to lock and unlock the door each time we left. Other than that we had a great time! The ice machine wasn’t working..we texted the number and they said someone would come fix it the next day but they never came. It was a short stay for us so it was fine but would’ve been nice to know so we could go buy ice the first night we got in.

Nice stay

Very nice property, wish there was a few more TVs just for night time with the littles but nice over all. Make sure you bring all of your extras as the cabin isn’t stock with anything past the minimum.Lots of bear sightings so make sure to keep your car doors locked

It is in a nice area. We enjoyed the view. The kids had a blast. Seeing wildlife was thrilling and scared. Bear poop on porch made it obvious they were near. We went to dinner to come back and discover bears had tried to break in vehicle. No problem, as it comes with the area. Strongly suggest reminders be posted to double check no food left in vehicles. Ever. Our problem was trying to get in touch with property management. We wanted to tell them bears had broken the bear proof garbage cans and had trash dragged everywhere. In that several houses use those cans, I didn’t feel it was my responsibility to clean it, but to report the damage. I had to leave messages every attempt. I received a notification the day before our planned departure, wrapping up final steps. Confused they wanted us to leave early, again I tried to contact. At the same time, we were headed out to explore and the combination on the door failed. It was very uncomfortable leaving the property with the door unlocked with food inside, and no protection from bears getting inside. It appears bears have checked the door in the past. I was mortified the noise the floor makes, being an early riser. There was no silent walking to make coffee above my family sleeping. There were no floor mats for the showers and the towel count was as tight as it could be for 7 people. We were delighted with Gatlinburg, as always.

Piece of paradise

My mom and I visited and enjoyed every bit of it! It felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere while only being a few minutes from town. We even saw a bear off the front porch nearly everyday! Totally recommend

Not able to use our reservation

We were unable to use our reservation as my MIL ended up in the hospital. I texted and asked if our adult children could still come and was told "Yes" they could. A few hours later, I was told they could not b/c I was the one who booked the rental but we would get a full refund. A few hours later, I got a text that said we would not get a a refund at all. We did not purchase the trip insurance - my bad and lesson learned. I asked if we could get credit to use our reservation in the off season and got no reply. I totally understand the no refund rule as it is clearly stated in the rules. But I do not understand why our 23 year old son and his girlfriend could not use the reservation. Or why would couldn't get credit to use the home in the off season? I was trying to be honest and let the owner know what was going on. In retrospect, I should have just sent my son down there and the owner would have likely been none the wiser. My bad for being transparent and honest. So sadly, I have no way of truthfully rating this property.

Mountain Getaway

We had a lovely stay at your cabin. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated. We even saw a few bears and wild turkeys! We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding Location & Beautiful Property

Out first visit to the Smokies was lovely due in large part to the outstanding location and well equipped rental we secured. The house was immaculately clean, with sweeping views of the mountain and town on both sides. The kitchen was well equipped, but offered plenty of space for stashing snacks. The bedrooms were quiet and beds were very comfortable. The hosts were informative and responsive and the check-in/check-out process was exceedingly simple. Highly recommend!!

Great Place to Stay!

We spent Christmas at this house as a family group of six- four adults and two kids. Everyone was comfy and loved it! The bunk room was great for the kids and the two king beds were so comfortable. We used the kitchen a lot and it was very well appointed. The host even put up a small Christmas tree! One of the best things about the house is how it has great views and is not in a high traffic/crowded area, but downtown Gatlinburg is less than five minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!
