Charming Riverside Retreat

  • Cabaña histórica construida en la década de 1920. Dr. Bien, el único médico del condado, usó la cabaña como su escapada de pesca. El agujero de pesca se encuentra en la curva grande, justo debajo de la bifurcación de las bifurcaciones norte y media del río Smith.

    Ubicado entre los viejos abetos Douglas, y una playa tranquila con acceso privado, esta acogedora cabaña lo tiene todo.

    En todas las direcciones, hay vistas del prístino río Smith y el bosque nacional. Las aves son abundantes! Nos visitan Osprey, Kingfishers y un águila calva residente. El patio trae arrendajos y varias especies de aves que brindan horas de diversión para los observadores de aves.

Had an amazing time once again staying at this cabin. We knew the last time we stayed we wanted to come back to this cabin when we came up to get married and it made the trip even more magical.

Stunning views and so peaceful! We want to come back as soon as possible. This was the most relaxing and cozy bnb we’ve stayed at. We fell in love with this little cabin.Very clean, our host was so kind and welcoming. The sounds of the forest and river at night is incredible.

Wonderful location right on the Smith River. The owners have provided everything you would want. Beautiful out door patio overlooking the river.Easy access to the river. If we come back to the area we would stay here.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything needed to cook some great meals. The best is extremely comfortable. The owner very thoughtful and all the linens are above average.

The photos and descriptions don’t do this property justice. This is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve ever stayed at. Would highly recommend this place. Hope to be able to stay here again but if not it’ll always be etched in my mind.

My mother and I spent 3 nights at the cabin. It was a wonderful place to come home to after exploring the Redwoods! Clean, cozy and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfy. Looking forward to coming back when it's warm out and you can swim in the river

It has everything you may need. With the windows open you can hear the river and it is so peaceful. The hosts are wonderful and this place is so worth every dime. It is close to explore the redwoods and the beaches. We had a great time.

A real gem. Had the feel of visiting dear friends and staying in their well appointed and thoughtful cottage. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the outside patio large with various comfortable seating options including a hammock. The sound of the river was beautiful to hear and there steps down to hang out and take a swim. Would come back.

What a gem of a find and stay. This place is absolutely beautiful, and I wish I had 2 more days I could stay. As you walk around the property it just keeps getting better. I am traveling solo, I think the cabin capacity is 3, and that would be snug. But I kept thinking every time I sat on the back porch listening to the river, its a shame no one is with me to enjoy this together. Having a washer and dryer in the room totally completed the package. Thank you so much for letting me enjoy your cabin for a couple days

We had a wonderful stay. It was such a beautiful and quiet setting. When we were not in the Redwoods we spent a lot of our time sitting outside and watching the river flow. We were gifted fresh eggs, what a wonderful treat! All in all our stay was fabulous. We would stay here again if we get the opportunity.
