Very cute and well decorated beach bungalow just steps away from beach access. The bathrooms have been recently updated and plenty of bath towels and wash cloths provided (no hand towels though ?). The host has provided games and activities for kids although we didn’t have any young ones with us, it was noted as a nice touch.Laundry room downstairs with full-size washer and dryer. The only thing that would have been nice that was not provided was coffee :-) for the nice coffee maker they had.

Neighborhood felt very safe. The beach is close enough we easily carried beach bag and chairs. The house felt spacious with lots of areas for people to spread out to read or come together for meals and games. We had decent weather, but you wouldn’t feel crowded on a rainy day. Well equipped with ample towels for showering and the beach. Close to Dunes challenge, other beaches and train to Chicago.

Cute home that is truly a stone’s throw from the beach. Kitchen is stocked with all the basics but there were no dish towels which was unfortunate and odd given the ample supply of bath and beach towels provided. We stayed a week and never figured out the wi-fi which appeared to be an unsecured network requiring a fee. It’s in a great location for beach access and is about an hour to The Loop in Chicago.

Family 4th of July

We had an amazing time! It was my family of 3, we brought a friend and my mother and step dad. The house was so cute and perfect. The kids stayed upstairs and we stayed downstairs. We wished there was an additional TV but the kids made due with their devices. My parents brought their E-bikes and were able to explore the surrounding parks and neighborhoods. The house has the perfect privacy from neighbors. The kids loved the backyard game. This is right down the street from the entrance of the beach, remember that you are in the Dunes and there will be a lot of walking up and down the hill to get to the beach and back. The sunsets were beautiful. I would stay here again!

Great house with all the basics for a Lake Michigan beach holiday

My family & I stayed 3 nights. Perfect location & an easy 1 block walk to the beach. 2 BR, 1 BA downstairs, same upstairs. All beds were covered in plastic w/microfiber sheets, which we found to be overly warm. Upstairs: the 2 beds up there are pretty soft & it’s warmer up there, even with a window unit in 1 of the bedrooms. Fans were available. Basement has nice washer/dryer, foosball table & other couches for hanging out. Various board games were available. Advice: Bring your own beach chairs, beach toys, floaties, etc. Beach towels were provided. If you intend to cook (like we did) BYO spices, oil, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags, etc. Kitchen pans & food storage containers were minimal. No broom, household cleaner, kitchen towels/dishcloths, or laundry supplies were to be found during our stay. Front/back door codes can be a little tricky, ask for explicit instructions when checking in.
Unbeatable Lake Michigan views.
Chicago off in the distance. Use the South Shore train to visit downtown Chicago. It’s easy & drops you off in Millenium Park.
Beautiful sunsets every night.

Beautiful clean house. Easy process, friendly staff

I rented this property for a gathering at my dads home in the city. This house was so adorable and well equipped with everything we needed. Not to mention a 3 minute walk from the beach. The property manager was friendly and made sure everything went smoothly considering my family drive 11 hours. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family as well as ill be renting again.

Cozy space for family

Monica’s place at Miller Beach was beautiful - a perfect mix of cozy, while still offering my parents and brother (all older adults) our own large bedrooms and beds. We enjoyed reconnecting over some local pizza and board games at the spacious dining table. At night after beach time we unwinded watching basketball on the nicely sized TV in the living room. We were there for the first frost, but were still able to have good walks during the day, especially with the beach being so close. The location is perfect for any season.

A Stone's Throw was the perfect spot for our trip. Room for everyone and all the amenities we needed for our trip. A short walk to the beach and a short drive to the trails.

Lake Michigan Holiday Weekend

Very nice house with plenty of room for 6! Everything felt fresh and updated. Garden and screened porch in the back were lovely. BYO soaps and shampoos as these were not provided and I probably didn’t look that closely on the listing, so my fault on that. Great location and Lake Michigan just steps away!

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean, well equipped with things like towels, kitchen items, etc. Excellent location to walk to the beach. Friendly neighbors. Easy drive to other locations. If we ever had a reason to stay in this area again, I would definitely stay here.
