"The Step House hotel was one of our favorite stays on our Ireland trip! We had a beautiful and spacious room that opened onto a terrace overlooking the gardens and mountains in the distance. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast in the 1808 Pub. The staff was wonderful and the extra touches like flowers and prosecco in the room made this the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and start off our trip! We enjoyed the small town of Borris and walking the Railway trail. We hope to...

"The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. The Pub was full of great people and Matt was super friendly."

"Excelente cocina, excelente sala, excelente ubicación (parking disponible, supermercado a 100 metros), excelente calidad/precio"

"Bedroom was a really good size. Good storage space with a safe and fridge. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. Really good choice of Gluten Free food available both for breakfast and evening meals."

"Habitación grande y atención estupenda"

"Great location. Very clean and safe hotel. Very friendly owner!"

"Although we had a coffee machine and kettle in the room, there was also a fully equiped (shared) kitchen available for us to use. The breakfast was fantastic."

"El hotel estaba bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad. El personal muy atento y amable. La habitación era grande aunque algo antigua. El desayuno muy bueno con un plato caliente a la carta y un completo buffet para la parte fría como panes, paateleria, cereales, frutas, embutidos, etc. El hotel en general está bien mantenido, pero aún así está algo antiguo . La ducha, por ejemplo, solo tiene alcachofa fija. Lo que hace difícil aclararse el pelo."

"Basic but functional room. Check in was fine but a man of few words."

"Dated hotel, dirty carpet and used of gym very limited 10 am, so of no used. Not a great experience was told it used to be good "

"Breakfast was great"

"Nice room and very close to a bus stop that goes around the city! If you want breakfast, you can pay to add it on."

"Host is very nice, tasty breakfast and we were able to have nice chats with other guests"

"The standard room was dark small and uncomfortable had 1 full bed and a twin it’s a a family room I don’t understand why we were assigned that room we are a couple luckily we don’t spend time in the room. Also the pictures on Expedia did not show that the standard room had this format. We complained but were told that is how all the standard rooms are. Pool area isn’t very nice small pool and there wasn’t a hot tub"

"Clean, newly renovated rooms. Very friendly staff. Good food."

"Ubicacion del hotel buena pero en si el hotel es antiguo con muchos pasillos con escaleras sin ascensor muy incomodo si andas con maletas Habitacion algo pequeña Camas comodas Lo mejor el baño muy comodo Desayuno me parecio algo caro Personal muy amable"
