"Loved staying here with my husband, two adult-ish age kids and my nephew. Fun location in a nice area for multiple RVs and cabins. We loved the A-frame cabin. Close to the Royal Gorge and Canon City. The toothpaste tablets were a hit too!"

"A very different and interesting location with incredible views in piñon and juniper forests. The owner provided great information on the solar and other systems. Because several days were cloudy we did use the on site generator to be sure we had adequate battery power. We would definitely stay again…it’s all about place which was fantastic especially when the sun came out and we saw new snow on the Sangre de Cristos!!"

"Review is specific to the A-Frame cabins. It’s a neat idea and the area is beautiful. Unfortunately the owners don’t care to keep the A-Frames clean or in working order. The shower dripped 24x7.The shower curtain was disgusting/dirty.There is no dishwasher and the staff does not hand clean the dishes well. Food on plates and water spots on the silverware. Who leaves used sink sponges/scrubbers for new guests to use? They do here. Grease on and in the kitchen utensil drawer. The coffee maker...
