"The accommodation itself was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, the building itself needed a bit of care in places but because this is a community owned building the money is needed for other things like the rooms which have been done. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. "A wonderful stay in the middle of the countryside! Colleen and Griz were perfect, friendly, down to earth hosts and their recommendation for a local pub for food was lovely! It was also great to meet their dogs who were so keen to have a bit of fuss! Breakfast was stunning and freshly cooked. The room had a really comfortable bed and everything was clean and welcoming. We'd highly recommend Ty Mawr to anyone wanting a stay in the lovely West Wales countryside."

"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "
