"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you.
The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !!
The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate.
The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty...

"Room is very basic. Breakfast is basic. Nice chef though, came specially to apologise for the limited options. In general the B&B is overrated extremely overpriced. Not happy at all that I booked it"

"Beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting. Breakfast was 5 star! Lots of choice and presented perfectly. Our double room was very clean with en suite and quality toiletries. Tea/coffee and biscuit were replenished daily. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, with lots of local advice - we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house for our Lake District break. Having on site, free, car parking was a bonus too, so we made use of the bus services in the area. Highly recommend - we’ll be...

"A lovely hotel, currently being refurbished. Very friendly staff. Great food, great service. Spa is first class and very clean. Had a massage which was heavenly! We will hopefully be back again sometime soon"
