"Wish we had had more time to enjoy the lake! The property was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The only real complaint was that it was unclear in the add that the two upstairs bedrooms were on a floor with no bathroom. This was inconvenient for adults of a certain age!"

"What a great setting for a multigenerational family gathering! The home was clean and exceedingly well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. The dock sits on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and has cleats to tie a rented boat for longer journeys out to the main lake. Game room and lower level rec room provided variety for evening intertainment. Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful time during our stay! We enjoyed being out on the water and exploring the different islands Lake Gaston has too ofter. The best part of our stay was hanging out on the amazing screened in porch!!! Whether we were drinking our morning coffee listening to the birds wake up, or smoking dinner on the trager!! "We are a group of 9 that were in town for a baseball tournament in Roanoke Rapids. The house was a quick 25 minutes to the ball field. While the rest of the team was crammed around a hotel pool, we were relaxing in the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious to cook and had all necessary supplies and even spices. When our tournament ran late, the owners were super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. "The place was nicely furnished, was very clean and had comfortable beds. The owner was easy to deal with. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice to walk. I sat on the large porch in the mornings with my coffee, and it was very peaceful and enjoyable. But as the morning wears on, the sun goes overhead and the entire porch becomes too hot to use. Unfortunately, the porch on the other side of the house isn't better in the afternoons since the "roof" is translucent and therefore doesn't provide...
