We only stayed one night, but the communication with management regarding our circumstances was excellent, professional and timely! The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked! We really enjoyed the hot tub, the claw foot bathtub after a long day, and the comfortable couch with fireplace to lounge by. The biggest highlight was the game room- wow! We had soo much fun playing games with our kids and watching the spurs on the many TVs! The only drawback is that the listing showed a washer dryer and tv in every room and unfortunately there were no washing facilities and one of the bedroom TVs was broken, but the management was quick to respond with an apology and an alternate laundry facility.

Wow!!! We didn't get to enjoy the space as much as we wanted to, there for only a short time. Everything was so beautiful, beds so comfortable didn't want to leave. Will definitely return. So much to do we didn't get a chance to see. Thank you for being the best hosts we ever had.

Felt like false advertising

The listing really isn't accurate at all. The ZZ Top game room is not just for The Vaughn House, but for all the other tiny homes on property as well. The location in regards to town was good, & the game room was fun. However, if anyone in your group is balance challenged due to Neuropathy or say a recent knee replacement - better keep looking elsewhere as nothing on the property is ADA compliant. No handrails on any stairs to get into house. There are 2 bathrooms, but both appear to be afterthought & are not in the bedrooms as on-suites,but at the back door back to back. Also the lighting is very dark, unless you're in the one with tub that has a couple of windows. The toilets in both rooms are for small children & were difficult to get down to and up off of, especially for older folks. No hand rails anywhere, including bathrooms. The road into house is a dirt road that is washed out, also very narrow & hard to have 2 vehicles on road at same time to pass ea other. Check in instructions need a little updating but management company will send texts & emails checking on you but didn't call me back when I called right after arrival asking for the outdoor chair cushions as the "lean-to" shed was no where to be found. Bottom line, we has a great time with some great friends, but we always do in Fred. However, after the last 8 years of making trips here this "house" was a big disappoinment compared to all other places we've stayed. But we are in our 60's & expect more.

We had 3 couples. We did cook meals. Needed some silverware but they were great about bringing some. Place was perfect for us. Just couldn’t get main TV to turn on. Recommend it.

We loved the property and how it was in the country. The kids loved the game room and walking the trails. The hot tub was a perfect addition and watching sunsets while drinking wine in the hot tub was perfect! The house is so cute and great for families! We loved it

Not everything works

The hot tub does get hot but none of the jets work. Not sure how often it is cleaned. 2 of the 4 tvs we could not get to work with the Roku provided. There are 2 fans in the main living area and only one of them works. There are NO closets in the bedrooms to hang your cloths. The floors were not very clean.

The only reason we chose this property was because of the 6 person hot tub. We could have chose a different property for less without a hot tub but with our back issues this was why we chose it. Didn't work. Property mngr says it was inspected and worked. Didn't work. Maintenance came out and deemed it need parts to fix and wouldn't be while we were there. If it didn't work you shouldn't list it as an amenity. No closets for clothes. Other than that the barn cats were lovely.

Not really any extra blankets for the house and the one's that were on the bed were pretty light weight . pillow and beds were a bit above average. Cute house and fantastic fireplace.
