    Among the Pecans luxurious, comfortable, and PRIVATE. This extraordinary ranch house is located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries. Outside from the front porch you can rock away your cares as you enjoy the scenic views of the Texas Hill Country. Common areas for the two suites include a utility room with washer/dryer, and built in iron board and iron. Out back there is a large rock patio with furniture made to relax, barbeque grill, umbrella table for dining and fire pit.

    The old smokehouse was converted into two separate and private hot tub rooms. There are a total of 3 rooms and 3 baths each with a champagne bubbler tub and separate showers. There is a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need for you stay. A continental breakfast is provided which will include homemade baked pastries and a few other breakfast items (contact us for further details).

    For larger groups please visit our website for other adjacent properties to accommodate more. For more details on this accommodation please contact us because it does have an adjoining suite.

Fantastic

This place is fantastic, the location is perfect. It’s only a short drive to downtown Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. The host’s went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.

amazing weekend getaway

We had 3 couples in our group and enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this property. The host was the most accommodating & generous host I've ever had. It was close to town and yet still in the country. I would highly highly recommend this place!

Great Stay

Property owner was very responsive. Monica made amazing treats for us and offered a birthday cake which was delicious. The location was great, quiet and had ample space. Definitely recommend.

Another Amazing Weekend

This is the 2nd time we’ve rented this quaint farmhouse. It’s perfectly located off 290 and offers plenty of privacy for our group of friends. The house is so cute and comfortable. The muffins and biscuits Monica makes are delightful! The extra thought and amenities she provides makes it an amazing trip and we’ll be back next year for our yearly trip to the wine country!

House in the country

The house was very well maintained with plenty of extras provided by the property owner. Our favorite area was the outdoor fire pit that came with plenty of wood to burn. Great way to spend our New Year’s Eve!

Family birthdays celebration. Goodtime being together. We were further from town than we realized. You definitely need your vehicle to go anywhere.

Amazing wine tasting get-a-way weekend!

The house and host was fantastic! We rented this house for the weekend with 2 other couples. The location was perfect! Right in the middle of the 290 winery strand. Easy access to all the great wineries! It was a so private and we rented the whole house- 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and the main suite had a small kitchenette in addition to a fully stocked kitchen.The fire pit and hot tubs were a bonus! Monica was amazing! The communication was great. We arrived to a homemade cake, muffins, biscuits and jelly and casserole!! The beds were comfortable and the house was cozy! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our weekend stay!!

Great Stay

Everything was great except a couple things. There were alot of dirty dishes,glasses,plates. There was an exuberant amount of insects as soon as we walked in the door as well as in every room(Spiders,ants,June bugs,wasp) Complimentary Breakfast was excellent! Host was very helpful and responsive pre check in. Very homey feel,Great Stay we will most likely return.

Girls Weekend Getaway

We spent a girls weekend celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday at Monarc Ranch and started in the house, Among the Pecans. I cannot say enough good things. The home was very cozy and comfortable. The jacuzzi was the perfect way to end a day of wine tasting. The baked goods (biscuits, banana bread, cranberry orange bread, and a chocolate birthday cake) were all so delicious. They definitely went above and beyond, making us feel very welcomed. I will definitely stay on this property again in the future.

We loved this place! Away from city for privacy but close enough to drive! The homemade biscuits, bread and O’Brien casserole were fantastic! It was well stocked. Hot tub & fire pit were wonderful. The granddaughters loved seeing Deer and the swing in front. We will definitely return to Among the Pecans.

Perfect for quick getaway!

We booked a last minute weekend trip and were beyond impressed with the property. We rented the entire home and it was perfect for a family. Hospitality was great, we enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor kitties, and the spacious property. It was nice to stay outside of the city but also close enough to drive into town for lunch/dinner and not too far from Enchanted Rock for a nice hike! Would stay here again with kids or girls weekend, close to vineyards.

VRBO Failed!! But what a host...

We booked the reservation early July for a bachelorette weekend and much to our surprise after a 6+ hour drive the rental was already occupied upon arrival. So you could complete understand our frustration. We called the owner and she was there within minutes to take care of the issue. She was able to find us a new rental within walking distance of everything. They even left us a beautiful spread with mimosas. Highly recommend verifying with both VRBO (maybe not even use VRBO find the rental on another site) and the owner prior to arriving. This was a first time experience for me and I've learned my lesson. Thankfully the owners were completely capable to handle to problem.

Wine Tasting Weekend

One of our best VRBOs ever! The house was perfect for our party; two kitchens, three seating areas and plenty of bathrooms. The homemade breakfast items were delicious and would be a reason to come back. Location is perfect for wine tasting. We are going home and book for 2022.

Family Escape

We had a wonderful time! It was a family gathering now that the kids are married and spread out over Texas. Monica provided really nice a nice breakfast. She also made a cake for our birthday celebrations. The property is very nice, clean, and comfy. We'd like to stay there again as we enjoy going to the Hill country.

Country Living!

This property is in a truly rural, beautiful area. It’s also very private has everything you need for your stay. Lots of small personal touches that made our stay more special. About 10 minutes from town so if you’re going to drink, DD or Uber for safety! Thank you so much!
