Absolutely Perfect!

The property was fit for purpose...modern, clean, close to Main Street and activities...outdoor area was amazing! Reviews on sofa is accurate, not your deep seated 'soaking' couch but not horrible either. Bed was very comfortable! Outdoor living was overly enjoyable! Quiet and peaceful with tons of entertaining seating. We spent most of nights around the fire pit and enjoying the stars! Highly recommend. Only call out is the master shower is the only shower so be prepared to share if you have a family to plan for.

Very nice stay!

Unique property, metal exterior, regular sheetrock interior with concrete floors (it didn't seem to be an actual former container even through it's in the name). Huge lot of land, totally fenced - great for med/large dogs (small dogs may be able to fit through the fencing). Bring your own dog bowls for food/water. We felt safe and secure there; little to no neighbors visible; quiet. The house was close to everything, very convenient. We only ate out, never cooked but did notice that the kitchen was a little sparsely equipped if you do plan on cooking. Note, bring your own coffee, creamer, etc. There is a single cup Kuerig. The decor inside and outside was really cute. Beds were comfortable; living room furniture was fine for short term sitting but not great if you want to really kick back and relax. We didn't realize before arriving that the second bedroom didn't have it's own bathroom. There is a half bath off of the living room instead. The main bedroom has a full bathroom/shower. Soap and shampoo were provided (no conditioner or Kleenex, fyi). Neither bedrooms have closets but the main bdrm had a rolling clothes rack and one luggage rack. The second bdrm had neither and would recommend those be added. The cowboy pool was a nice idea but it did not appear that the filtration system was working. We never heard or saw it running and there was a film on the top of the water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Thank you for having us!

We live in Austin and frequent Fredericksburg often. We love it there and have stayed at numerous properties. This one was nice and overall great. We enjoyed the 2 days we were there. I gave it 4 stars based on other properties we have stayed at to compare. The best things about the property were the comfortable beds and pillows--so cushy. Also, it has a cattle "pool." Most places have only a hot tub, so this was a good in between--not quite a hot tub, but not quite a pool which is great in hot weather (the pool is filtered). I also love that it's pet friendly. Lastly, I really liked that they had tv's that had cable and internet tv (not in the guest bedroom tho). I will say, that after having stayed at numerous other properties that it didn't have as many amenities as most--no welcome gift, no olive oil, other simple cooking items, etc. We had to go to HEB to get simple cooking items. They also have check-out earlier than most (10 am) and someone showed up at 10:02am to make sure we vacated the property on time. The property was nice, but the strangest thing was that it only had 2 bathrooms and 1 shower. For 6 ppl, it was a bit odd. It def. can sleep 6, but there is a laundry room in the second bedroom instead of a bathroom (the second bathroom is in the main living space). We had 4 teenagers, and most didn't shower on a 2 day vaca. Also, the second bedroom was 2 full sized beds (not queens as is listed in the ad). All in all, it's a great space!

Wonderful stay in Fredericksburg

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful property. The house is very eclectic and unique, a little away from downtown, but easy to reach in under 5 minutes. We loved the peace and quiet and the surroundings where we could see deer roaming around. We let our dogs out all the time and they really enjoyed it as well! The weather was a little too cool to enjoy the pool, but it was nice to just hang out outside and enjoy the fresh air while sipping some prosecco and eating snacks. At night we loved watching a movie all together as a family in the cool Frame TV they have. It's really well equipped with everything, and the decoration is really cool. Would love to come back.
