Cozy Home and Beautiful Property

The Honey Creek cabin so so charming and cozy and the property it’s on is beautiful! Saw lots of wildlife (deer, rabbits, cardinals and hummingbirds). The bed was super soft. The hot showers felt so nice after a day hiking Enchanted Rock (~30min away). It was really easy to get into town for nice meals and shopping (~15min). The home was well-stocked with cooking essentials. It was a great, relaxing retreat for us, and hopefully you to!

Pretty Cabin

We had a very nice stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Especially appreciate the coffee and creamers in the fridge! Only constructive criticism would be to put a larger flatscreen tv in the bedroom. The one there now is a tiny computer monitor size.

Honey Creek Cottage was great!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location very quiet, the cottage was really clean and well-kept. Our suggestions would be brighter lights in the kitchen and bathroom, and the mattress in the main bedroom had a low spot in the middle. When we are back in the area, we will definitely consider coming back here.

Honey Creek was delightful!

Smooth process of arrival and departure. Wonderful country location, but close to Fredericksburg shops and wineries. We celebrated my Mom’s life here this weekend with family and saw cardinals. We had a lovely time. Cozy and comfortable.

We loved the cottage and it’s location out of town. Wildlife abounds, with evening deer visits and hummingbirds all around. Great stay! We would recommend written instructions in order to watch all the DVDs. We found the dvr and direct tv controls, but not the tv controls. If not needed, great, but instructions would be a plus.

Could have been Great….But

Our weekend getaway could have been great but….cobwebs everywhere. Microwave was filthy, burned out lightbulbs, ceiling fan didn’t work on porch, blood from a dead bug on wall, bathroom lighting was really dark (not good for putting on makeup). TV in bedrooms were outdated and very small. NO extra toilet paper, half used rolls. Chipped coffee mugs and dishes. Didn’t get a since that the place had been really cleaned and checked before our arrival.

Aaahhhhh! A relaxing get-away.

We wanted a short couple days to relax and de-stress. This cabin was perfect! We did very little cooking, but anything we needed in the kitchen was there. The cabin had lots of room, and the surrounding woods were quiet and very relaxing. We spent our second evening having wine and chatting as we sat in the comfy rocking chairs on the front porch.

Honey Creek

This is a lovely cabin with a great king size bed. The cabin is well laid out with beautiful floors and woodwork. The best parts are the porch and breeze and the birds and the dark night sky. Very close to downtown but in the country. My only suggestion is some good reading lights. The only lamp in the living room had a 12w bulb.

Nice but needs some improvements

Overall-Lovely cabin and outdoor setting King bed was very comfortable . But—- lighting was poor. Brighter lighting needed in living room, kitchen, and bathroom, We had to get flash light lantern from our car to read by. Curtains are needed in living room. Better quality towels in bathroom are needed These are suggested to make the stay 100% enjoyable

Excellent venue. My family enjoyed our short trip to Fredsricksburg for a wedding. The cabin provided everything we needed. The front porch was especially nice. Would definitely recommend and return.

Awesome cozy get away!

So enjoyed this cozy little cabin in the woods. It was a perfect getaway for our 24th wedding anniversary. If you want to find a place that feels like you're alone with nature, this is it! We saw multiple deer, squirrels and even a coyote!
