Hot tub was great! Very relaxing with nature all around. House was well cared for. Very clean. Host very nice and always answered quickly. She provided fresh yard eggs, pancake mix and homemade syrup for breakfast. Located short distance from Fredericksburg and Lukebauk. Great way to spend our 50th anniversary!

The country farmhouse was extremely charming. It was super close to all the action in downtown Fredericksburg while giving you that nice country feel. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after long hikes. It was amazing to sit out under the stars. We also took the trails down to the river and around the property. Be sure to look for the boneyard! Sharon was an amazing host. You must try her homemade buttermilk syrup! It is amazing. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg very much! This house was so cute! Well taken care of, clean, and very well appointed. The hot tub was hot, the beds (a king and a queen) were comfortable. And we had everything we needed! Its just few minutes outside town and easy to find.

Nice small farmhouse. Very interesting history with a fun photo book. Conveniently close to downtown, yet still can see the dark sky at nite for great star gazing. Short walk to a fishing hole at the Pedernales River. The host left farm fresh eggs and homemade pancake syrup for some great breakfasts!

Everything was perfect. Just as described in the listing. Everything was clean, very quiet & peaceful, & we loved hiking to the river & look out point. The hot tub was nice & private. The snacks & farm fresh eggs were also wonderful.

The house is in a beautiful country setting on several acres with large open spaces and huge oak trees. There is a short (1/3 mile) walk to a trail that takes you along the Pedernales River that is easy to walk. Driving into Fredericksburg for restaurants and shopping is quick, but it is nice to return to this serene setting. The house itself is steeped in history, with mementos of the family settlers and their pioneer life noted throughout. The house was clean and the hosts were very welcoming. It was also fun seeing goats and chickens, which added to the setting. It was hard to leave to head back to my large city. I'm hoping to return as soon as I can get away!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The house was very clean and we loved all the decor and antiques of the heritage of the house! We had such a peaceful, relaxing time there. We never left the grounds. We spent a great deal of our time around the Amazing fire pit they have, just enjoying the fire and the quiet! The Hosts were Fantastic! Very personable and caring! They had farm fresh eggs in the fridge for us along with homemade syrup for pancakes (pancake mix in cupboard). Answered any questions we had and gave us some suggestions of places to visit. We loved the animals too (chickens, goats, duck, and cattle). This is a Phenomenal place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery! You can sit in the screened in porch, sipping coffee while you watch the sunrise and listen to the rooster crow in the morning!! You can sit around the fire pit or on the front porch and watch the sunset! Absolutely beautiful!! We’re definitely planning on visiting again in the future!!

We absolutely loved this home! It had everything we needed and the added breakfast assortment and treats were so sweet. Sharon has done a wonderful job decorating with family heirlooms. We slept great and we enjoyed the dark and quiet farm land. The hot tub was so relaxing. The chickens and goats were so cute. And the walk to the river was beautiful. We will definitely be back!
