This was the perfect remote hideaway. Their land is gorgeous, the view is endless. It was so quiet there and the stars were amazing. Ken and Mary have a beautiful home and have thought of literally everything to make their guests feel at home. Everything is of the highest quality. We enjoyed spending so much time on their deck and didn't want to leave!

Early. Birthday celebration for my husband

The views are breathtaking and the house is so beautiful, clean, and organized. Everything has a place and all toiletries are provided. The host was so thoughtful and had a birthday balloon waiting for us when we arrived. The refrigerator was filled with bacon, sausage patties, eggs, biscuits, pancake mix, butter, and bottled water. Also, the house was stocked with several jams to choose from and coffee pods and all the creamer and sweetener you could possibly need. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were also supplied. We will definitely go back to this ranch.

Grandview wildlife ranch

Mary and Ken are wonderful hosts who take the upmost pride in their property. From communication, cleanliness, to every possible accommodation they were wonderful. The property is filled with the most beautiful views, an abundance of wildlife, and more privacy than you could imagine. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend to anyone!

Wow - What an amazing view and experience!

Anniversary

Mary and Ken have a great place, paradise. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening with the deer and occasional turkey. Views are fantastic. Every detail needed has been taken care of. Cooking dinners was great given everything that is there. Having breakfast items a real plus. Our 41st honeymoon could not have been better. Thank you Mary and Ken.

Best little spot in Texas

Perfect in every way! The owner meets you at the property and provides you a guided tour upon your arrival. It was unexpected and wonderful to have him explain details that otherwise you would likely have questions on. The view was spectacular and I have never seen a house so well stocked, organized and clean! A bottle of wine and full breakfast is provided too! We will definitely be back! Thank you Ken and Mary!

Best View Ever!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful place! Everything was special, starting with the orientation we received from the owner. The cabin was well stocked with all the necessities and more, including all the fixings for breakfast every day. The view from the front porch and additional deck was spectacular, with long views of the Hill Country. We would highly recommend this home and hope to return.

Spectacular

Our 5 night experience at Grandview Wildlife Ranch (GWR) was exceptional. GWR hosts have created not just a lovely place to stay but a true escape into the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The setting is private and picturesque, views of the hills framed by the cowboy pool deck setting and by the covered porch view from the lovely cabin, not to mention the views afforded from the hot tub. There is not a single detail left unattended to, to enhance the guest experience, from the hearty breakfast provisions, to the spa towels, to the quality deck furniture that offered spectacular seating and views wherever we were. There is a game feeder near the cabin to draw in wildlife which for us included deer, wild hogs, and turkeys. Binoculars and a telescope are available to guests. The option to use the “mule” 4x4 was a treat and if you are comfortable driving that type of vehicle it allows you to fully see the beauty of the property from all angles. We all said numerous times during our stay that our GWR hosts always chose to go “top-of-the- line” in all their touches to this wonderful spot. GWR hosts Mary and Ken were exceptionally helpful and responsive to all questions and requests while we were planning this trip of a lifetime to view the spectacular solar eclipse from this spectacular Texas setting. The stay simply could not have been better, it exceeded expectations.

Amazing Anniversary Getaway

This property is so well cared for and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home. We enjoyed waking up with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise from the hot tub. Total privacy and total relaxation. We took time to explore the property from the rented ATV and had so much fun riding around, country tunes playing while checking out the wildlife. I cannot say enough good things about this rental. It made our anniversary weekend absolutely perfect. We are already talking about going back! This place is a little slice of heaven in the Texas Hill Cointry.

Amazing Experience

My husband and I booked this VRBO to celebrate our 21st anniversary. I would say this by far is the best place we have ever booked. The hosts are very accommodating and spot on with everything you will need. Coffee, sugar, creamer, shampoo & conditioner & even makeup remover towels….and another perk was the breakfast stocked in the fridge. Thank you both, Ken & Mary for our amazing experience. We truly enjoyed it.

Wow!

Every single thing was amazing at this property. They thought of everything to make your stay convenient and comfortable. They made check in and out super easy. It was quiet, isolated and beautiful. Easy to get to town. Everything was quality, even thr towels and dishes made me feel like i was at my home and not a rental. I cannot wait to return. Just lovely.

Perfect relaxing getaway

My husband and I spent three nights at this property for our anniversary. The cabin is just as beautiful as the listing photos and the views are amazing. The secluded property is so quiet and peaceful. We had a great time driving around in the mule, sitting by the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub. We saw several deer, armadillos, and turkey. The cabin had everything thing we needed and the hosts included so many thoughtful touches. Great communication before and during the stay, and the tour on arrival was a nice touch. We would love to stay again in the future.

Fantastic getaway

This place is awesome. The only thing better than the cabin/property are Ken amd Mary. Two of the sweetest folks you will meet. We will be back for sure. Oh and be sure to rent the mule, game changer.

secluded getaway

Very nice property for a secluded getaway. Plenty of wildlife to see including deer, hogs, turkey. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay in a remote location.
