Peaceful Farmhouse

Peaceful, beautiful restored farmhouse on a working ranch. Surrounded by crape myrtle trees complete with cattle and friendly cats! Great owner communication, adorably decorated and comes with supplies for s'mores! Perfect for 2 couples. I would definitely rent again..anwieverything you need

Week relaxation!

Monarc Ranch is a lovely, quiet place to stay. It is located conveniently to the vineyards and Fredricksburg. The house is quaint and comfortable. Monica has daily breakfast treats which are simply divine--all homemade. would highly recommend and look forward to coming back. Thanks to Monica and Mark.

2nd great stay

This was my second stay and won't be my last! Love the country ambiance (ie, quiet!!!) and space. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and wonderful breakfast foods are provided for the first couple days. Communication is easy and accurate

Great rural get away

This house had everything we could have ever wanted. The kitchen was fully equiped, the bathrooms were spacious, the hot tub was warmed, the firewood was stocked by the pit and the animals were friendly. My husband absolutely loved the remote location and we never even ventured into town. There were plenty of wineries & restaurants for us in the area.

Perfect setting

We loved staying on Monarc Ranch during our trip to Fredericksburg! Outside of town on a beautiful ranch, quaint farmhouse was perfect for our stay. The host are very attentive to details, they will spoil you. ❤️ Homemade biscuits and pumpkin blossoms were there on our arrival. A sweet anniversary gift as well. 🍾🥂🎂 Perfect for a quiet relaxing get away while enjoying Fredericksburg!

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay. Feels just like home. So quiet and relaxing. A nice comfortable house with all the amenities. Along with fresh homemade pastries and other breakfast items to choose from. We enjoyed the hot tub. Cows, cats, kittens, and deer visited us.

Nice place away from the city

Overall happy with our stay. It is away from the city but not too far about 10-15 mins. The outside is a little dirty with webs and bugs but it is on a ranch, so there’s that. Cats all over the property , one even climbed on the wire door. We barely got to see cows or horses. There’s a nice campfire area a few feet away from the house and the jacuzzi is pretty big.

Peace and quiet near wine country

Nice two bedroom, two bath just off the main road in Fredericksburg. Monica's house has everything you need for a stay near the wine country. Homemade biscuits were a nice touch. You'll probably get a visit from the cats to welcome you. Enjoyed our stay.

Charming ranch cottage

Birthday getaway

This is a picturesque property quietly tucked away in the country but only 15 minutes from town. We instantly felt at home. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch swing and watching the deer. I hope to get to go back.

So So good

An absolutely perfect stay, appreciated, having a good dog, friendly place where the dog literally dug her feet in and almost refused to leave when it came time. Extremely quiet and private and an excellent getaway. Not too far from Fredericksburg about 10 to 15 minutes out. Monica has thought of everything and all the little touches make a big difference, I will return just as soon as possible

Perfect escape

I stayed here for my 57th birthday and loved every. single. minute. A cow was standing in front of the house to greet us when my friend and I drove up. Bonus points right there. We got in with no problem and walked through just marveling at everything, from the scenes painted on the walls to the enormous tubs to the homey decor. I let my friend have the bigger/primary bedroom because the one I took just pulled me in from pleasant childhood memories if staying with a beloved aunt whose home was furnished similarly with antiques and had a very good vibe. So the hot tub was absolutely top notch and my main reason for choosing this place, it git nice and hot and was clean and was private. But then! The tubs inside...oh my goodness we almost skipped that, so glad I took one before the trip was over. And now I've got to get one for my own home or just have to return soon!! 🙃 Monica was the best - she made the best biscuits I've ever had, and jelly, and banana bread. And a birthday cake for me! My favorite, carrot! Everything from scratch and so wonderful. This reminds me of the premise of all these rentals nowadays under the description B&B. Yes, she is an amazing hostess all right. We stayed 3 nights and I can't wait to come back. Thanks so very much, please don't change a thing. ❤️

Quiet country retreat

We stayed here hoping for a quiet retreat in advance of the Christmas hustle bustle and it was great. The house is a country farm house with rwo spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, well stocked kitchen and an unexpected bonus: TV trays. Loved it. Just like home. We also appreciated the Roku setup with Netflix and Prime Video. Monica is a great host and her daily treats were excellent. Highly recommend.

Most peaceful place I’ve been in a long time

This is a1920s era house that’s like stepping into my grandmas house. So nice and cozy. Very quiet and peaceful with all the amenities one could want. Owner was very responsive to all our questions. It was a very nice stay.

Relaxing Getaway

A wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of today's stressors. Monica was a wonderful host. The only issue we had was knowing that there were 3 rentals on their vast ranch. We stopped at the first one, not knowing that this one was further back on the ranch. Although we live in the country, this was such a nice, relaxing getaway. The hot tub was perfect. The roaming bulls added to the charm of the place. And the quiet was divine. Also, it is only a short drive into downtown Fredericksburg. And, the cinnamon rolls were definitely delicious, as were the rest of Monica's goodies! We definitely plan to return.

Nice Getaway

Secluded. Spotlessly clean. A little slice of Nirvana. Damn good cinnamon rolls home made. You got any issues they are on it. Had a wasp nest on that sweet front porch and within the hour, it was taken care of.

Relaxing getaway near Fredericksburg!

Our family had a wonderful weekend in Fredericksburg. The property was exactly as described, and the check-in and check-out process were seamless. Monica left us an amazing array of yummy homemade breakfast foods. Our dog loved going for walks around the ranch. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

VERY NICE

OK, this property is AMAZINGLY all inclusive. We have NEVER stayed anyplace where there was more for us. Fresh biscuits and muffins, milk, eggs, orange juice, snacks, apple juice, cereal (hot and cold), and so on. The hot tub is EXCELLENT. The property is gated and private. There is 1 other cabin next door (no one was there while we stayed), but otherwise you have complete privacy. We saw a few cows, a horse, and some cats. All seem very accustom to people. Now, let me say if YOU are the type that expect "SPOTLESS", this may not be the place for you. It is "in the sticks". As such, you will likely encounter a bug or a spiderweb or a bit of dust. The property has a "lived in" appeal. I felt it was quite clean, but it is perhaps similar to visiting an elderly relative. Lots of light. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the owners are very prompt to respond if you need anything. The gate on the front of the property is a really nice perk.

So relaxing!

Me and 2 girlfriends stayed here for a Girl's Trip. It was like staying at grandma's house and brought back lovely memories looking at all the decor and knick knacks. It was so relaxing and quiet. We loved the quietness at night and the animals on the property. (Especially the mama cat and her 4 kittens). Monica was an amazing host and left yummy homemade breakfast pastries for us each day! It was a very relaxing stay and we hope to stay here again sometime.
