We had an amazing time at Circle D ! Brittany and Jordan were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived! The guest house is exactly like the pictures-- but even BETTER!!!! Welcoming us with homemade cookies and fresh eggs from their farm! The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed! The bathroom was also well stocked and beautiful towels and a marvelous shower/tub! We also really enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the sunrise and drinking coffee! In the evening we would sit on the front porch enjoying the beautiful front part of the property. We loved seeing the dogs, cats, goats, donkey, horses and the chickens! The guest house was very clean and fresh. We also felt very safe. It is a wonderful neighborhood. I know we will be back! I highly recommend it!

Peaceful getaway

Hosts were very hospitable, had homemade cookies and herbs from their garden for us. The cottage was clean, cozy and peaceful. They even went hung a birthday banner for me! Loved the horses, chickens and goats that they have. Will definitely be back!!!

Amazing!

Enjoyed our stay at this amazing little getaway in the country. My wife and I spent 3 nights and had the best time. The property owner (Brittney) was very accommodating and had great communication. We feel blessed!

Life on the open range

Our stay was fabulous. The house is definitely off the beating path. We passed a sign which said Loose Animals :goats,sheep, and cows. The house was very comfortable and the decor was rodeo cowboy which fit the area. We will definitely be back. It is also close to Patriot academy.

Peaceful Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Circle D Guest House, especially sitting on the back porch at night listening to all the evening sounds. The hosts had great communication and were very kind. The house was clean, and the bed and couch were comfortable.

Wonderful stay!

We loved staying at this property. The hosts are great, friendly people and the guest house is exactly as listed and very clean! Seeing all the animals on the property was a really cool experience. It was a fun vacation for my husband, myself, our one year old, and our 2 dogs! I would highly recommend checking this place out.

A Restful Stay

My husband and I LOVED our stay. We came for a short birthday getaway. The owners took the time to blow up some balloons and add some extra sweet things upon our arrival. This is the safest we have ever felt at a VRBO especially considering it not being directly in Fredericksburg. The owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They truly wanted us to relax and enjoy our stay. Lastly, THEY ARE PUP FRIENDLY! Our dog loved all the animals and getting to roam around a bit. We hope to come back here soon.

April 2023 visit

The accommodations were exactly as listed and pictured. Very peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hosts were very nice, welcoming, and friendly. What a pleasant surprise to find the refrigerator stocked with some surprises for the next morning breakfast! Our GPS sent us in the wrong direction as we approached the city. We ended up a long way off in the wrong direction. I messaged the host and received a phone call immediately. She gave us directions to get back on track to the house. The location was a little further away from town than what we expected, but it still only a short drive to get to the restaurants and shopping. It was really very relaxing to arrive back at the house each evening and enjoy the country atmosphere. The stargazing was amazing!! We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the area and the animals on this working ranch. Very nice trip!

Just what we needed

The host was on the property but gave us the privacy a guest would like. It was nice to know that the host was nearby if we needed anything. The welcome note and all the little essentials that were left were very appreciated!!!! Pet Friendly!!! Just what we needed to get away!!

Unique Experience

This location in the Texas Hill Country on a ranch is unmatched. The property owners live nearby but respect your privacy. I did have the opportunity to meet the young couple and they are super nice @

Bill Country Paradise

This was a great piece of paradise in the wilds of the Texas Hill Country! It was very quiet and secluded and was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Austin. It was very clean and well- maintained. We loved the chickens (my girlfriend and I each had our favorite) and the star gazing from the porch was fabulous. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Quick Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the Circle D’s family, animals, and ranch. The cottage was well stocked with breakfast goodies and thoughtful necessities. Even though we can see many stars at night in the suburbs of Dallas, we got to experience 16 shooting stars in the beautiful skies of Fredericksburg. We will be back.

Fabulous relaxing getaway!!!

This was such a great house! Not too far from town, but also gave you the feeling that it was way out in the country! Owners were super nice and the nature and farm animals within view of the balconies was outstanding. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing countryside retreat

What a wonderful time we had at Circle D! Our host family—Jordan, Brittany, Caylie “with a C”, and Emma were welcoming, and the girls were delightful. Hope we have grandchildren like them some day! We met the orphaned calf, Ginger and lamb, Lambie, the chickens (one was named Anna), the goats, the horses,the donkey (I can’t remember their names), heard the German shepherd (he was inside), and met Jack and Gus, the Great Pyrenees who guard the goats. Quite a menagerie! The breakfast items left for us were very much appreciated and unexpected—eggs, sausage, milk, oj, muffins, coffee. We had breakfast for dinner our first night there. After doing the touristy things around Fredericksburg during the day, we were content to spend the evening at Circle D having drinks on the porch, grilling dinner, and watching the deer, birds, and all the other animals. A perfect way to unwind! The house was great—very clean, comfortable, and homey. Thanks, Brittany! We will look up Circle D next time we head to Fredericksburg!

An excellent country getaway. Quiet, comfortable and clean.

Our hosts were on the property but did not interact with us unless we invited them. Lots of animals around but none were annoying, just fun to watch from the porch. Would recommend Circle D guest house to those looking to be near Fredericksburg but not in town. Some places to visit are Enchanted Rock, Wildseed Farm and LBJ Historical Ranch.

Fun Girls Trip

Great place to get away for the weekend! Location is a convenient location for wine tastings and exploring Fredericksburg! We loved how quiet the mornings were, and I loved having my morning coffee on the back porch! Great place!

Great country gem!

Beautiful cottage in lovely country setting! Immaculately maintained and well stocked. The breakfast ingredients were a welcome surprise. The cottage has steps to the loft bedroom which can be a little exciting in the dark.
