The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. We didn't use the kitchen, but it did look very stocked with all essentials if needed. Plenty of towels for just 4 guests, robes and slippers for 4 guests, and a mini hair dryer (came in handy when I realized I forgot mine) just to name a few things. It is located very close to Main Street, but not very close to the main shopping areas, but we purposely chose this location since it wasn't in the heart of the hustle and bustle of spring break people all over the place. My family did walk from the house to the shopping areas, but it might take a while for ones with either very young or older guests.

The place was great. The house was very similar to the house that I grew up in as a kid. The shops were very close, but not within walking distance. Only had one fault which the lights in the bathroom where the sink was, had very bad lighting for shaving. Everything else was wonderful. Thank you all.

well appointed

The house was well appointed with plenty of supplies. Parking was extremely easy in the drive. We loved sitting on the front porch in the early evening to relive our days in the area. Kitchen and bath layouts were great for 3-4 people. There were a couple of disappointments, not deal breakers, that we would suggest: ice maker in fridge did not work, the sofa in the living area seemed tired and dirty so no one wanted to sit on it. Thank you for a good stay

Beautiful, cozy home

The interior of the home is beautifully maintained, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked for those of us who prefer to make meals while traveling. The cleanliness and upkeep of the exterior was good. The cushions on the front porch were not replaced in the closest upon our visit as the owner states they should have been. The front porch required a good sweeping and cushion cleaning before we felt comfortable using them. The porch furniture was in otherwise comfortable shape and we enjoyed our time conversing their over morning coffee. The back table umbrella was torn and ragged and the table was in need of a good cleaning which was a shame because the back yard is very cute and we were looking forward to spending some time out there as well. Overall, this place was very enjoyable and we would definitely return for another visit. It is only a few blocks away from Marketplatz which was the reason for our visit this time...Octoberfest! We enjoyed our stay and hope this feedback helps your continued efforts in the maintenance of this precious property.

We love the west side of town and this location was great. The property does need some TLC. Mice ate through our intended breakfast which was a package on the counter. The front porch needs some attention between the wasps and structural roof and damage

Lovely historic house

Nice old house with high ceilings. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, covered porch. It wasn’t within walking distance from downtown like I thought it would be so we had to drive but it wasn’t too bad. We loved the house.

Lovely Victorian farmhouse just off the Main Street connected to a wonderful neighborhood. We loved the fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed relaxing mornings and evenings on the front porch.

Cozy retreat

The home is very comfortable, charming, and exactly as pictured. The beds are super cozy! I was sold as soon as I saw the welcoming front porch complete with swing and perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. Would most definitely choose this property for future stays.

Great Couples Getaway!

My partner and I went down to Fredericksburg with another couple for a long weekend and we loved this place! It has so much character and detail. It was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The entire process was easy, and the location was great. Every morning we were able to enjoy our coffee on the front porch and every night we could walk back from downtown and wind down with a board game and some wine. So fun!
