Great pool

Great location near several good local restaurants. It was clean, and comfortable. As others mention, the furnishings are a bit dated. Not much of a kitchen, just a cook top, microwave, and a small refrigerator. Had a bit of an issue with checking with the door code. Several people we talk to had the same issue. But it was resolved quickly over the phone. Property manager is responsive. Was great, grounds are well kept and the unit was perfect for two of us for a long weekend.

Delapidated unit should not be rental

First, the entry codes would not work and I spent over an hour standing outside trying to get help to get in. Finally, a code was provided by a manager that worked. Once inside it was apparent that the unit is in terrible shape and actually a safety risk. Old damaged small stove until had sharp metal corner exposed. Wall lamps swung on only one screw and lopsided. The electrical outlet next to the bed was loose in the wall and sparks when you plug into it. There is no fan in the bathroom. There was only cold to tepid water for my 3 day stay. There isn’t a table on the balcony. There are old faded prints hung that are decades old. One comically covers only 2/3 of the electrical panel. There are many more problems with this terrible unit. Only 3 good things- it was clean, the view is great and the bed was comfortable. But this unit should not be a rental until complete renovation.

Not what I expected.

The unit has OLD furniture. The bed was lousy. Drinks froze and busted in he fridge. The stove looked like a fire hazard. The pool, the view from the balcony and grounds were beautiful. Now the unit was clean but the over all conditions was unacceptable for what I paid for it.

Our stay at this rental was HIGHLY disappointing! We were so disappointed that we decided to leave the rental a day early! The pictures that were posted on the website were not accurate for this rental. When we arrived on Friday night for our check in the entry code that was provided for us was not correct which had us standing outside for 30 minutes. Numerous attempts were made to our contact point of the rental but ALL were failed attempts. We finally got in contact with someone at Vacasa who gave us another code to try thankfully which worked as it was well after 10pm. I hope the next occupant of this rental is made aware of the actual rental and not a photoshopped rental.

Served it's purpose

This studio property is older and is showing some wear, but it was a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable, but we had to laugh when we sat on it, it squeaked...a lot. Should have recorded it! Other than that, we didn't spend much time here so didn't use any of the other amenities. We didn't use anything in the "kitchenette" so cannot comment on that. The location proved to be within walking distance to several of the area's best reviewed restaurants which we appreciated. Heads up, if you want to visit "The Shack" (.4 miles East) call ahead as they stopped taking reservations before 8pm for 9pm close on a Wednesday evening. So, we went .2 miles West to SoiBistro which turned out to be an adventure in Sushi we will not soon forget. Soooo Good! While I appreciate customer service, (there was a lamp shade that was smashed when we arrived, so we sent a photo off to the property manager which prompted one of the phone calls we received). I received email and text messages as well as phone calls before, during and after my stay. It was a bit much.

Just don’t do it

The property is not clean. The room was not as pictured. Water pressure was terrible. Lamps falling off the wall. Outlets didn’t work. And balcony rail was weak. I’m not a complainer but you couldn’t tell by this post!!!

Ok stay

The property location and building was great. My condo had some issues but the staff was right out to fix it. The biggest thing I had was some dirty cleaning materials were left in the apartment and no toilet tissue was left for me.

Needs serious upgrades.

Unit is outdated. Bed was horrible. Couch was nasty. I felt bad making my 12 year old sleep on it. The door to balcony was broken and the light in balcony was out. These are just a few things that were wrong!

Great vacation

We enjoyed our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Overall score would be 4.6 as the pool was dirty with leaves and twigs and upon them doing Lawncare a rock chip my windshield. Just feel they should have tenants move vehicle BEFORE cutting and trimming the grass. But enjoyed our stay immensely. We would definitely stay again thank you!

Perfect affordable getaway

This was the perfect little condo for our week in Fort Walton Beach. The property manager wrote a hand written welcome card with her information on it, even though we never had a problem to need her, another cute touch. It was just my husband and I, and we were looking for something quaint that wouldn’t cost us too much while house hunting in the area. Located about a mile from the cute downtown Fort Walton Beach area, it was clean and well kept. It’s a small space, but just perfect for two people. There’s a pull out couch for additional people if needed, a breakfast table and a nice TV. The view was incredible, we walked the docks for an evening walk, and the pool was an added bonus. There’s a small refrigerator and a microwave, we didn’t use the mini stove but it was a nice option. I would definitely recommend this place for an affordable cute Fort Walton experience.
