This is a beautiful home in a unique development. It backs onto a lake and is very private. There were 15 of us, ages 3-73, and we spent a week there. Highlights were:
1. Pool with adjacent hot tub. Dollar-for-dollar, paying to have it heated in February was the best value of the whole trip. The water from the hot tub spilled into the pool. We were able to control the temperature and lights. It was used from dawn well into the evening.
2. Four bedrooms each had a king bed and en suite. Each adult couple got a king. One bedroom was on the ground floor for a great no-stairs option. Other sleeping areas for the kids were fun and unique.
3. Five bikes on the property for our use. Lots of trails.
4. Use of all Watercolor amenities. Camp Watercolor was a huge hit. A mini water park with a lazy river, bar and canteen made it a hit with all ages.
5. Parking for five cars. We had four, as we all arrived from different parts of the country.
6. Grocery store located just minutes away.
7. Very responsive management company. The pool stopped working one day (heat, filter etc.) and they were there in 30 minutes to reboot the system.
Suggestions:
There are lots of high-end gizmos in this house and some of the instructions were tiny and hard to read for older eyes (cable TV, lighting, microwave, dishwasher . . . ) , but we had young eyes with us who were able to read and figure things out. There should be a binder or handbook with need-to-know instructions and information.
The downstairs en suite bathroom needs something on the top window, as the neighbors can look right in!
This house surpassed my expectation. Overall, we all highly recommend this house!!
