We had issues with the coffee pot, it was missing the filter. We asked for a replacement and we r thru 2 days of texting back and forth snd by that point we just said forget it. I feel they could have easily went to Walmart purchased a 17 coffee pot for the week were there. Instead we got nothing. The 2nd issue was it says it beach front view… mostly the view of roof tops of other condo in front of you and can not hear the ocean due to the extremely large ac unit below the unit 3rd you can not access the beach with a wagon unless you go to the ground floor and walk to beach manner condo and access that way, you can not access beach with a wagon thru the pool due to only steps and they will not let go thru that way other than that it was a good place

Fantastic

This property is safe and beautiful. It's basically it's own little community. The pools are lovely and the ocean is right next to the condo. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Great for all ages

Great location for everyone in the family. Safe for all ages to be active. Kids loved pickleball and basketball courts close to condo. Room was perfect for family of 6. We didn’t use signed since bunks fit all. Loved oversized porch with plenty of room. Chair service on beach was easy and there was plenty of room at pool deck too! Owner responded quickly to questions. Great week away!

Beach days are the best days

The condo was very clean and spacious. Bring Tupperware if you plan on cooking and have leftovers. The outdoor patio was perfect to hang out at night. The only downfall was Topsl, the elevators were unreliable, so we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs unless you wanted to wait for an elevator for 10-15 minutes. My son actually got stuck in it for a few minutes. We were told the HOA won’t put a sign out on the elevator that does not consistently work. In addition pickleball courts were closed. I’m pretty sure they could have scheduled a slower time for this maintenance.

Great stay in Destin

My wife, I and our 3 kids rented this condo and loved it. Its right on the beach with two pools; the condo itself was so open and roomy with a great view. We didn't have any issues, but did call the owerns with some questions and they were more than helpful. Apparently they have a few other units in the same building; will definitely stay with them again,

Fantastic Beach Getaway

My recent stay here was fantastic. The ocean views from the balcony were stunning, and the condo was clean and well-decorated with all modern amenities. Being steps away from the beach made for perfect morning strolls and sunset views. The location was ideal, with great nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend for a luxurious beach getaway!

It was disappointing

The upper pool was not available to us- - no key card. Went to management office and was told there should be one available. They called the owner but received no response. Lower pool had no umbrella or sun protection which we need during the day do to our age. We stay at the Tides twice a year. This unit will not be a choice for us in the future.

The property was clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that that this unit does not have access to the top Tides only pool, and so we had to use the more crowded lower pool. We were not aware of this prior to making the reservation.

Nice view and update

Overall had a good stay but had some issues with the main TV which were corrected with maintenance.Also had some issues with the garbage disposal and the poor shower head flow in the guest bathroom all of which can and should be corrected.Communication with the property manager was good but had to call several times. The view was very good and the update was appreciated.

Place was as described condo is beautiful! Just a few suggestions…. A broom or vacuum would be nice to have in the condo since there is no housekeeping and all the sand. Also mattress pads need to be washed. I understand with turnovers that would be hard but maybe have some backup ones to change out from time to time and better sheets would be a huge plus! Overall was a great stay an would stay again!

Worst VRBO Experience EVER

I apologize for the negative review, but had I been able to see the condition of this unit, I would have never booked it. This unit is without a doubt the worst unit I have ever booked on VRBO. We travel to a different beach every year and book exclusively through VRBO. I booked the unit to take my wife and two young girls, 1 and 3 yrs old. On arrival the unit was very dirty, so much so that I contemplated leaving. However, we decided to contact the owner and see how to remedy the situation. The property owner, was very polite and accommodating. He had the cleaning company clean the unit again which I very much appreciated. But after the cleaning crew left for the second time, the dishes had dried food on them in the drawers. Floors and baseboards dusty, sandy, and sticky. The dish washer did not work properly. The shower faucet dripped the entire stay (not an issue for me, but is an indication of poor maintenance). The coffee maker was broken and there were only 3 coffee cups of which only 2 had handles. The baseboard in the guest bathroom is rotted from water damage. The floors appear to have been replaced and do not have trim around the walls (cheaply done). The cabinets and fridge surfaces were caked in grease and dust. Didn’t appear to have been cleaned in quite some time. Furniture was heavily worn and stained, disgusting underneath the cushions. The pools and beach were nice. However, the beach access is quite a long walk around the pool areas or you must be able to accommodate 3 sets of steps. The beach access is only an issue with small children or the elderly. Overall, I would not recommend booking this unit unless you want to clean the unit yourself on arrival. It was a poor overall experience and I will never stay at this complex again. The photos featured in the ad are not an accurate representation of this unit. If you want these conditions, book a room at the SUPER8 and save your money.
