Tucked away
This property was the perfect little get away! The view straight out every morning was absolutely stunning. The quaint indoor details provide comfort and a sense of home. A unique find was the clue game tucked in the cabinet! A fun rainy afternoon was enjoyed playing that. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Mountain Brow Review
My husband and I were looking to get away in the mountains for a couple of days, and this little cabin was perfect! It is private and quaint and peaceful, and the view from the porch is splendid. The owner was responsive and kind. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the grill. I would highly recommend this cabin, and would love to stay again!

Beautiful Place
This cabin was absolutely a dream! It was a tad bit difficult to find but once we did, we loved the privacy! The town we stayed in was definitely sketchy… but the cabin was far enough away from the town that we felt safe. We came back from dinner one night and saw a mama black bear and her two cubs climbing up a near by tree right next to us, it was beautiful. We really enjoyed it there! So so so peaceful!

I expected small and quaint but it was nicer than I expected and very convenient to Little River Canyon and Desota State Park. I'd stay there again, no doubt.

July 4th weekend!
We had an amazing time. Our host let us check in early with communication and it saved us from the storm that hit a couple hours later! We enjoyed the NEW gas grill they gave us. And the hot tub. The clouds and fog came in over the mountain in the early morning and it was beautiful. We didn’t use the firepit this time but we’d love to return and enjoy the cabin again. Hiking in Desoto and Mentone and saw the firework show in Fort Payne. Great stay!

Much needed break
This trip was a short anniversary getaway from Birmingham. The location is private and has a nice view through the trees overlooking Fort Payne. Small but still had the amenities to provide a comfortable stay. Even scrambled some eggs on the hotplate to go with bacon, grits and toast for breakfast! The hot tub was awesome after hiking some of the local trails nearby. The ice cream shop/ general store was only 3 minutes away... hey, you've got to treat yourself after a long hike. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Peaceful and Relaxing
Peaceful and Relaxing with a gorgeous view from the deck/porch looking out over Ft Payne Alabama in the distance. The hot tub made it even better definitely after a long day hiking and site seeing little river canyon and DeSoto state park only several minutes away from the cabin. We even made a special trip to Ruby falls which is about 50 minutes away. The cabin was super clean and comfortable it even had a nice electric fireplace. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Keep in mind this cabin is in a really nice neighborhood but has a long private road that takes you up to the cabin so you do have some privacy.

We had the greatest time at this little cabin. It was very nice and clean, and the hot tub was our favorite part by far! It will always hold a special place in our heart, I asked my girlfriend to marry me right there on the deck! Will definitely be back!

Best little cabin ever!
Even though this cabin is near other residences, you would never know it! Conveniently located to restaurants and Desoto National Park. We recommend going to the Falls!!! The sunsets are STUNNING! & the owner is lovely and very accommodating!

This is a small cabin with a nice view. The cabin was clean and has a nice hot tub on the deck. This cabin only accommodates two adults and note it does not have a stove or oven , but it does have a microwave. Overall a great place !!

Love this place
Everything about this place was great. It was relaxing, perfect for the 2 nights we stayed. real close to a lot of falls and little river canyon. The hamburgers at the restaurant the rim of the canyon in the gas station next to little river are the best I’ve eaten. They have local ground beef.

Exceptional Cabin
Everything about this cabin was as advertised. Perfect size and amenities for a couples getaway. Can’t beat the view for being near Fort Payne. Did hear some road noise from Hwy 35 but that’s to be expected due to its location, which is pretty accurate per the VRBO listing. We don’t normally repeat vacation locations but this might be the one given it’s distance from our home and it being easily accessible.

Amazing Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I arrived on Friday evening and found the cutest cabin lit up ready for our arrival! We enjoyed lounging around in the cabin, waking up and cooking breakfast (the hot plate was great), drinking coffee on the porch, relaxing in the hot tub, watching the awesome sunset, watching the Alabama game, and spending quality time together. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary, and this cabin and location was exactly what we needed. We had the most amazing time! The mattress was a little rough, but the hot tub soaks compensated for that! We will definitely be back.
