"I booked a room at Captain’s Inn because I wanted to be in a relaxing place, with a view of the water. I watched the sunset and the moonrise. I sprawled in the huge bed (like a giant marshmallow!) and appreciated the sparkling spotless bathroom. The staff were all thoughtful and it was like staying at the home of a friend. Exactly what my weary soul needed."

"First the not preferable : Be careful when booking. The second floor rooms (3 rooms) share one small bathroom and there’s no extra first floor bathroom. The first floor bathrooms probably have a private bath. We went through Expedia. Maybe book direct so you can ask questions. Our room came with 2 standard sized towels. "Our stay was quite enjoyable in the Captain's Quarters! Bed was comfortable, room was very clean, bathroom was very clean, amenities were all provided and then some. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to any one who is needing a place to stay in the area. Quite convenient to AC and LBI which are the 2 places we were visiting."

"This was an amazing stay and I will most likely rebook again. Now do I think we were probably having much more fun than the other guest- the home was BEAUTIFUL. We had our breakfast served in bed each morning- delicious gourmet breakfasts. It was 3 blocks away from the beach, easy beach access, and you can borrow their chairs for free. They give you beach passes, umbrellas, parking passes- everything you need to enjoy the Jersey Shore. I highly recommend this place."
