"We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing mountain getaway. The views were absolutely stunning — especially at sunrise and sunset — and the porch was our favorite spot to unwind. The location was convenient to downtown Bryson City, yet peaceful and private. The host was friendly and responsive, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"Easy access. Clean, comfortable and inviting. For us, the location is perfect to unplug and unwind. You can hike to Schoolhouse Gap from the cabin. Minutes to Townsend, Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns, Horseback riding. Maryville is a half hour away and has all of the stores. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are 30-40 minutes. "

"Loved everything about our stay. Cute cabin. We gave the downstairs bedroom to my sister and her husband, and we took the queen upstairs. We especially loved the dining room!! Also had the added feature of a small, 100 pound little black bear on the deck, looking to lick the drip pan from the grill. We all ran for our phones, but he left before we could get a picture. The spa was a lovely addition! It was nice and clean. Thank you!!"

"Our host Melody was the best. She was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We had everything we needed. Very clean cabin which is a plus. So peaceful sitting on the porch swing. My husband loved napping in the hammock. Cabin was very easy to get to. No switch backs or steep hills to go up. Very close to Cades Cove, restaurants and a grocery store in Townsend. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is the place. We’ll be back next year! "

"This being our second time at Fontana Lake, our visit was still amazing! We stayed a month later than last time and the views were awesome. I would not change a thing about this location. A pool table would be great since we stayed in a majority of this trip, as the weather was cold at times. If you think you need it, it's there.
